First of all thank you for all the kind messages. I honestly did not expect this mod to become that popular/well received, especially since its my very first mod ever that I've made public - on any game really :D
That being said I do hope it keeps working for as long as possible, because I've moved on from Fallout 4 long time ago and my current situation (being employed and having to deal with "real life" thingy) prevent me from coming back to it (especially in terms of modding). So I won't be able to provide support and patches to this mod untill further notice :( If any of you would like to modify/patch it up - feel free to do it! Thanks again!
Hope you don't mind my asking, but: I'm using the West-TekLESS version of this fix, and turning on the Pip-Boy light with any of the visor lenses installed makes the visor shine light everywhere except in front of me where I actually need it in first person. Is this intended behavior? And if not, are there any plans for this to be fixed, or is there a way to fix it myself in F4Edit? (I've never used it before, but I can learn if need be.)
For me the glowing eyes are still bound to the PipBoy light, so if i hold TAB the eyes begin to glow. And they still emit light. Anyone having the same issues? Is it possible to bind the glowing eyes to the West Tek Tactical Optics? So that toggling between the vision modes it changes the color of the eyes as it works for the tactical goggles from the West Tek mod.
There's a really big problem with your armor. Upgrading the Armor to Metal Armor adds some weird gas tank to the back of the coat. When I tried to reverse it, taking off the metal armor, it still was there. The gas tank does not look that great. Please fix this. I had to reload a save.
Sorry for necropost, but i wanted to share result of my 3-hours suffering. If you install the West-tech module, but cant activate it through hotkey or aid item then you need to add new one through the console and get rid of the old one. If you want glowing eyes independently from flashlight and working Pipboy flashlight, then open .esp through FO4Edit and navigate to .esp/Light. There will be objects representing different colors of glow. You need to change the <DATA - DATA/Flags (sorted)/Off by default> to 0 in every color. Then you need to move flashlight.esp after the Cruiser FIX.esp. (I dont know how to do it the right way but im still satisfied)
so the westek version need westek esp, so less westek version doesnt need esp but when i install the mod, it required westek esp....now i dont understand
I no longer have the tools for that since I've moved on from F4 modding years ago BUT you can easly fix this by simply use F4Edit, open up the westek-less .esp in it and "clear masters" - it should remove the Westek esp from the masters list. Sorry for inconvinience.
