    A warm hello to all Nexus Mod's users, I wanted to leave an update as it has been quite some time since I have released any news or additions:
    Currently as you all might have guessed, I have taken a break from modding and focusing on other hobbies, however, my mods are by no means unfinished and I hope you all continue to enjoy them. Thank you all and hopefully I'll be back in the soon future as Elder Scrolls 6 ramps up,

    whooooaaaa this mod is doing way too much at once.
    Be much better just removing the explosive force of molotovs, keep the fire damage and distance as vanilla.

    the way molotovs explode in the game is pretty realistic, I get removing the explosive force, but containing the fire to a small area is not how molotovs work, the liquid would spread, not just be in a small spot, everything else is great, the ground burning, the reduced explosive effect, the NPC reactions, all great, but I would increase the AOE of the flames as the liquid would definitely spread when the bottle is broken.

    I've been searching for a mod like this, that includes Legendary burning and Laser based burning also..
    Does this mod cover those as well? ...

    This is the best mod for flamers AFAIK available for flamers. Although, I have to agree with one poster below, to wit:

    "I can see why Bethesda did not make these deal fire damage. Fallout 4 lacks fire resistant gear and even with my mod list where I have a huge amount of modifications I can do to my armors I still lack any decent amount of fire resistance. Enemies on Survival difficulty wielding Flamers and Assault Flamers have become a living nightmare where they instantly melt you in normally less than two seconds once they get within the large range."

    The mod functions as described except for the flamer range. Vaporization nozzle is still basically point blank range only.

    Edit: Disregard comment regarding flamer ranges. Had the Equilibrium mod and I overlooked the changes introduced to the flamer. Opened both that and this mod, prioritized the burning spell effect of this mod and the changes to the flamer range, but retained the ordinary energy damage of the base game. Thanks for the mod!

    Honestly now that I've been playing with this mod for a bit and I've been testing it in a save game on survival where I 100% complete the map I can see why Bethesda did not make these deal fire damage. Fallout 4 lacks fire resistant gear and even with my mod list where I have a huge amount of modifications I can do to my armors I still lack any decent amount of fire resistance. Enemies on Survival difficulty wielding Flamers and Assault Flamers have become a living nightmare where they instantly melt you in normally less than two seconds once they get within the large range. Since there is no way to counter the fire damage (Asbestos does nothing to help) you have to either one shot the enemy and pray that another one doesn't pick up the gun or sneak snipe the target to death without being spotted. I'm not saying your mod is bad by any means; in reality it makes sense but in the world of Fallout 4 without any feasible way to counter the fire damage it is not usable or balanced. I really enjoyed using the weapons and it makes them fun but it's not something to me that works with the way the game is built sadly. The molotovs are great though, never have issues with them and they make sense now not one shoting you like a grenade should.

      Really helpful feedback, I was interested in this mod as well because of the realism it adds, but was kind of worried about balance especially for flame weapons, where I thought they would simply be too good. Thanks for sharing your experience with the mod.
