As posted on the F4SE page, all native code (DLL) mods will need to be rewritten for the new version of F4SE. Will this mod be updated?

This mod doesn't *need* to be rewritten. That being said, maybe I'll be updating it soon (soon meaning about half a year).

how do I know if I should choose one version over the other? Does it matter?

Pick the one matching your game edition (normal or VR) and version. If there isn't a file for your game version just get the newest one for the game edition as the game version isn't that important here.

Ever since I've installed this, whether the install is vanilla or 900+ mods, or minimal F4SE mods, it makes launching the game a roll of the dice on whether or not it starts up at all. Sometimes it boots, sometimes it doesn't, it's completely random and it sadly has practically zero effect on load times which is a shame because in theory this sounds wonderful. Removing it solved my launch CTD issue.

    Bug report

The mod doesn't recognize an ini option as correct when its value part contains quotation marks (works fine without  PPR).

For example, the line from my fallout4.ini (under "General")
sStartingConsoleCommand=bat "bts\autoexec"It prints an error to the console:
    bat "bts\autoexec
    Command: bat "bts\autoexec
    Syntax Error. Mismatched quotes.
    You must enter a filename.

Oh s#*!, I didn't account for this kind of quotation. I don't think I can fix it any time soon, so I'd appreciate if you can make an issue on the project's github so I won't forget about it. https://github.com/Karandra/PrivateProfileRedirector/issues

hello will this mod give an fps boost?

And will it use more of my 16GB ram to load faster?  (im normally at a max. of 12 GB ram usage.. so i technically have 2-3gb left which could be used for this mod)

Can't seem to download this neither manually nor with MO2, while I can download other mods. Very strange.

Hopefully someone can clear this up. I've been using this, but then someone told me that PrivateProfileRedirector F4 "conflicts" with ENB due to messing with it's inis so I stopped using it (to my chargrin). Then I read somewhere that an update made both compatible with each other, getting mixed messaged.

TL;DR is this newest version of PrivateProfileRedirector F4 compatible with the newest ENB series 0.489? Thanks!

I've fixed conflicts with ENB I was aware of and could reproduce. There are still a few people have reported, but I couldn't reproduce them and fix.
