Update 3.0 is out and in need of extensive testing. Still working on bringing the update to all available weather mods. Might be a day or two at most. Please READ the description about what has changed in 3.0
Updated the vanilla preset again 10.25.18 - tweaked brightness for daytime a little plus a few other minor things. Looks better now
One of the easiest enb presets to work with that requires minimal to no requirements. Great look to shadows, a bit challenging with darker nights but after some ini tweaks it can co-exist with a great look and immersion. As the ma stated it doesn't hinder fps too much but that's also dependent on your rig. I am using 32gb 3200mhz ram, 8 gb rtx 2060 super gpu, i7 8700k (not overclocked) and a m.2 samsung 970 plus ssd and with running basically an entire remake of fo4 due to mods I stay at a consistent 65 to 70 fps outside of downtown. Downtown I'll fluctuate between 58 and 65 with no combat and average 50 with heavy combat. I have had a few ctds but I needed to adjust my lo around a bit and pretty much ctds stopped.
Overall, this mod does exactly what it advertises. Don't let a good or bad comment dictate whether you'll install it, try it out and delete it if you don't like it. If it doesn't work for you then read comments, look at description and troubleshoot. There are a lot of enb presets out there and many are good and some not so good but that's my opinion and you should find one that fits your opinion as well.
Great enb preset MysteriousDawn! and ty for not requiring other mods in order to use this one.
This is the only enb preset that I keep coming back to while testing so many others. Sure others have good quality of coloring/shadows but majority of them mess with godrays and I like mine to be on ultra with the actual ultra appearance. I use the mod authors sun mod, which adds to the appreciation of the godrays. The fps hit on this is minimal but of course it all depends on what you have your shadows set to as well as dof (in game dof is a performance killer). Also, with this mod I don't need darker nights, which is always a plus when I can keep my load order shorter by a few mods that do a ton of things. Wasteland Illumination mod looks fantastic at night with this mod. There are so many benefits to using this enb preset but what's to my liking might not be someone else's satisfaction. I really appreciate this enb preset.
I've download the NAC version and noticed there are effects files not inside the enbseries folder. AFAIK they will not be used by the ENB so they seems useless. Are they like alternate version of the effects inside enbseries folder ?
For exemple, there're 2 enbadaptation.fx files inside enbseries folder and outside, why ?
Her game is set up to be ultra-dark in tunnels, caves, interiors without light, and outside at night. This ENB fits perfectly, she did do some tweaking for her own personal tastes but out-of-the-box it was the closest to what she wanted. Also, it's not a very heavy ENB, she was previously using Visceral by the same author and that has a much heavier FPS loss compared to DAWN.
PSA: One thing I would add, although the author mentioned they created DAWN v3.0 to not require ENB Lighting Overhaul... I MASSIVELY recommend using it anyway because it is a huge enhancement, it completely changes light sources at night and in dark interiors.
Big thank you to, MystiriousDawn. P.S. I saw your post about losing your PC in a fire, I'm sorry for your loss and I hope all is well. Stay safe.
@SamsungSama - That's caused by Sim Settlements 1-2 and/or Scrap Everything, known bugs. There is a simple fix for both but know that if you're using Scrap Everything, your game is likely going to break in the end anyway, so bear that in mind.
If you're using Sim Settlements, here is how to fix it: https://www.reddit.com/r/FalloutMods/comments/p8uwoa/fo4looking_for_the_concordia_lamp_post_purple/ The top comment, just delete 1 or 2 files.
If you have Scrap Everything, then in SE's optional ini settings, change these parameters from "1" to "0" so it looks like this:
I have tested almost every enb and weather mod on the web. This enb with Polluted Storms and several lighting mods is by far the best enb I have tried. Every single enb i tried required several tweaks before it looked the way I wanted and then still something was off. Nightvision didnt work, flashlight was too dim, nights not dark enough, shadow issues etc etc. This enb is plug and play. Insanely well done. My search is finally over. thank you!!
How do you delete the ENB? I tried the Polluted Climate one and I found that it was too neutral for my liking. I deleted the enbseries.inis, d3d11 filles, the enbseries folder but it's still there. Can anyone help please
The files you deleted are the only ones that are responsible for enb. If you still have the visuals it can in no way be the enb and must be a mod in your lo.

Anyway thanks for your work!
My partner is using it with the following mods:
- Enhanced Lights and FX (ELFX)
- True Lights (fix applied for broken IMAD) << Does a better job of darkening the sky compared to Darker Nights mod
- ENB Lighting Overhaul

If you have Scrap Everything, then in SE's optional ini settings, change these parameters from "1" to "0" so it looks like this:
[Display]
bUsePreCulledObjects=0
[General]
bUseCombinedObjects=0
Setting those to 0 will literally break your game eventually - as does the use of mods like scrap everything or similar.
I love it so much!
Makes the game much prettier, works well with all weather mods, and doesn't tank the performance!
