I was just now dreading going back to Fizztop to mess with the unlinked (why, Bethesda, why?) benches and wanted a mod, but had seen other mods with a lot of problems. Here you are! Trying out now.
Hi, two things. After installing this I had the odd thing that the gate to the Pack area is invisible. I can just walk up to it and it will initiate the load process regardless, and you can see into the area (no NPCs, of course). Probably vanilla bug that happened by coincidence.
Is linking this to the raider linked outpost workshops possible (for resource sharing)? Would be nice to drop resources into the workshop that were shared across that raider sharing pool.
I've seen that Bradberton Amphitheater gate bug posted on the Minutemen Takeover - Nuka World mod too. A few people reported it, no one has figured out what was causing it.
Thanks for downloading, UniversalLibrary, to answer your second question, no I'm afraid not. It uses interior workbenches only. Making this into a working settlement where that is possibly caused far too many issues.
As for the first, that bug was a pain to stamp out when I came across it in this mod! Sorry to see it's back. I managed to fix it, but I've no idea how. I don't get that anymore and I'm not sure I'd be able to replicate it. It could very well be vanilla related or perhaps a bug with all mods that affect Nuka-Town someway.
If anyone has this, please let me know and we'll see how widespread it is.
I just installed and enabled the mod (Right after the initial boss battle), ran straight to the pack gate and it wasn't missing, so that's confirmation on my end. I use no other mods that affect Nuka World (as in the whole worldspace) and i was in the Cola Cars interior when i enabled the mod.
It's not only this mod that causes the vanishing gate issue. I don't have this installed yet and I just ran across it. The only Nuka World specific mods I have installed are Better Open Season & Open Season Enhanced.
It might be another mod that adds or alters settlement objects that causes it, or even Seasons.
Damn, too bad I can barely scrap anything with the scrap all mod, plus the Telelogistics Units from Immersive Teleportation 2 mod don't even appear in this workshop, but it seems I can build the teleporters. Though, we'll see if it even recognizes this custom workshop.
I don't understand why Bethesda couldn't just make this into something like the Homeplate back in Diamond City.
Edit: Teleportation is fully working with both this and the other mod. However, when you first build a teleporter at the Fizzle Top, you need to go to the teleporter's terminal, then the settings and choose "Fix list" so that Nuka Town U.S.A. appears in the list of locations. But too bad that the other two things don't work, there would need to be a compatibility patch made with Scrap All and Immersive Teleportation 2.
Just wanted to reiterate a persistent issue with this otherwise wonderful mod. Once installed, any change to one's load order in a position after this mod will cause this mod to break down: counters and objects will vanish in the exterior, and walls and floors will vanish in the interior. Once this occurs, the only way to fix it is to either disable the mod or move it as low in the load order as possible. You can preempt this issue by placing it as low in your order as possible early; this is a prime example of "don't trust LOOT's auto-sorting".
In general, this mod should be loaded immediately above any other "explicit bottom" mods like scrapping mods and your bashed patch.
I've been using this mod for a few days now, I had no issues until today when things suddenly started going invisible around the workshop like counters and tables. And all of my junk that was in the workbench disappeared as well. Disabled the mod and things went back to normal. (Except my junk, I guess that's gone forever) :(
Edit: I downloaded the version from bethesda.net and so far so good.
Same issue, but using the mod off Beth didn't work for me.
Loaded from Commonwealth.
EDIT: One of the earlier comments suggested moving this above any scrapping mod in load order. Couldn't figure out how to manually do so with Vortex so I simply removed my scrapping mod, then installed this one while not in the Commonwealth and went to the Grille. Still isn't working.
Essential mod for Nuka World. There are other mods that overhaul Fizztop but they're all trying to do more sophisticated things and thus more likely to break something. I was looking for a no nonsense and simple mod that would finally make Fizztop convenient to use and this one does just that.I haven't had any issues so far with, no flying objects and the Pack's gate hasn't disappeared either. I only took two preliminary steps before activating the mod: I moved all the stuff I had stored in the Fizztop containers to another location and moved my character to the transit station in the Commonwealth. Then I saved my game, exited, activated the mod (and let Vortex/Loot handle the order), reloaded Fallout 4, brought back all my stuff to the Grille workshop and voila. Endorsed
Now usually I don't download mods that add workshops because I'm afraid of bugs and game crashing but when I downloaded this one it worked amazingly this is such an awesome mod finally I can get rid of those creepy mannequins and make fizztop grille the way I want thank you so much mate this mod is truly amazing!! :D
