Nice blade! This weapon was too overpowered though... But instead of moaning, I quickly edited the dam in FO4Edit... (If anyone was wondering, it takes literal secons) =)
Nice, I liked the Darkest hour but I didn't like how everyone else spawned with crappier rusty katanas... (A katana seems less unique when everyone has one.) I also didn't like how long the katana was, so this is amazing.

oh nice an craft able version. sadly the finding one does not seem to work for me i reinstalled and shifted things around. even tried using console commands. and not even show or list the weapon what so ever only the mods were listed. so im guessing my game is just so glitched or want to work.. i hope this version will work this time.
it may not be the esp but i guess never know anyway. i mean i do have over 353 mods installed so never know what could be doing it though 90 of em of them being texture mods. but i am pushing it none the less. if anything im experimenting on what happens when i cram so much into the game.
oh nice i was waiting for a more traditional like version of these. laser ones are cool but some times a basic can be fun. although ive played for hours and ive yet to find the wep off any npc's that use them. im guessing this is like a higher leveled thing or rare chance? only as since i dont know and if its not then i guess its bugged somehow or its just slow i dont know.
Glad to see you came back to update this mod. I had some difficulty with the .rar file and had to download it manually, unpack it, then compress it again as a .7z for NMM to successfully add the file. I kind of wish you had kept the same .esp name for upgrading too.
EDIT: I added the original Commonwealth Katanas back to my load order because loading without it made the Raider Katana that I had disappear. Also, searching for that item in the console returned no results. Now, I have both of your katana mods. Not complaining... katanas are cool!
im not sure what the issue is with the nmm install i just came across the same issue i thought i had used .rar before with no issues, ill look into it, i thought that combining them might cause issues like i said in desc it was untested and why i added a replacer version, i might just create an esp for the replacer version to contain all from both mods well see. thank you for your loyalty
It not about the weapon and its animation. its mostly the combat system itself sucks because there are only 3 move with melee. you cant even use 2 one hand weapons
Unless you create abilities with scripts that allows for more attackmoves that are connected to new hkx files, but there might not be enough interest in that among modders and animation artists.
lets say using FO4 hotkeys to manage to abilities to allow combos etc both in 1st person and 3rd, that is possible. What I would want are grab weapon on back animations, that maybe connect script to favorite to allow bind weapon to that button in a certain position then add grab weapon anim together with visible weapons. Too bad I suck at scripts, got so many ideas to make fallout4 more alive, but too little time and interest in learning it all.
Looks great in the pics. I love playing a katana wielding stealth type, but it just doesn't work unless it is strapped on the back, and I haven't found any decent animations yet either. But, if I did, I would be all over this mod! And thanks for sharing!
i feel your pain, although this weapon isn't compatible yet i like to use visible weapons for weapons on back but the animations suck i know, i don't know the first thing about animation but id love to see some good sword animations (specifically 2 handed)
