I noticed the Xbox version is not working correctly as the fish doesn't pop out for me I know it's been awhile since you first uploaded it but it would be so cool if it was working
Hi! Love this mod! Have a question: This mod deletes the Misc. Item \ 0000000F <Caps001> record from the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp. Could you tell me if this is correct? Should I reenable it? Thank you!
You are obviously very skilled, and have a ton of really vool and unique but well made mods. this one is no different, and its pretty impressive, but is there really no mutated fishys??? catching just one three eyed fish with say a 10% chance of catching wouldve been the cherry on top of an already superbly well done mod. just my opinion, but thank you s none the less, i love your work.
Your mod got 2 problems: 1. There are 2 "fish" tabs at stations, also 2 fishing poles option at utility at chem station. They look identical BUT the baits crafting are NOT. If I make bait in first option, it ONLY works for the fishing pole that is created in first option of utility. If I make fishing pole in second option, and make bait in first option, when I equip fishing pole, the "ammo" will NOT show up that I have bait in my inventory.
2. Your fishing pole "disappears" if I drop it. The only thing I can see is the pole in mid-air, but I CAN NOT pick it up
I haven't tested the fishes, but I doubt that any of them is different from the fishing pole.
You know it would be funny to reel in a mirelurk or two, Maybe a queen if you're really unlucky(or lucky depending on who you are idk). Just to make the activity more... exciting.
I was using this mod before the update in VR but now I can't find bait in cooking station > Utility > Fish (where I notated it was before), or in the console. I also don't see fishing pole in Chem-station > Utility (as description says). I am able to console "help pole 4 weap" but I'm not sure it's the fishing pole weapon from this mod as it is a baseID of just D. However maybe it is as the FO4 wiki seems to only show a junk "fishing rod" in the game, not sure what the baseID is for it. Re: bait "help bait 4 ammo" brings up nothing in the console. I looked at the mod a bit in xEdit and there should be for example trout and salmon bait ammo yet "help salmon 4 ammo" brings nothing up in the console. It's like this mod isn't working now for me even though it did before, is enabled, and I have "Version Check Patcher" installed. Any ideas? Thanks
1. Make sure the mod is enabled - if using Vortex, deploy - If using Mod Organizer, check the box on the left side, make sure plugin is enabled on right side
2. If the mod is enabled, make sure you are not over the plugin limit of 253 .esm+.esp files. If you are, then some mods won't be loading in your game.
I'm using MO2. Plugin is checked in the right LO panel. Priority 102. Only 166 active plugins in total. The ESP is flagged as an ESL but that should be fine and work just as an ESP for VR. I tried removing the ESL flag but that didn't see to help. Thanks though looks like I'm still stuck
PS. I did confirm in xEdit that the baseID is just "D" for the fishing pole weapon. So I do see that in the console so that part of the mod is working (and consoling the fishing pole in should be fine). I just need the bait now but I don't see it in the console or the cooking-station : \
Are you using any crafting overhaul? I use ECO, and it puts this rod under Utility for Weapon Creation in the Universal Workbench since it's technically a weapon as that's where it goes in the inventory. (at least, in my game)
I'm not using a crafting overhaul I don't think. This issue is something else for VR I think. Also it seems like the issue is with the updated version, old 2018 version worked in VR for me. Also "help bait 4 ammo" was bringing nothing up! I was told on Reddit that this is because the mod's, "Form IDs are below 800, so Fallout VR can't read them." The same person was able to fix the plugin for me and the bait all shows up now at stations and in the console. (I was already using "Version Check Patcher" and it didn't seem to help the issue.) (Yes, maybe walking and fishing at the same time isn't super immersive, but maybe the fish can't hear very well anymore because of all the rads.)
