My personal preference for institute weapons: (install in this order!)
Institute Redone (Adds glowy pieces to the weapons. Looks very nice and immersive.) [This is the mod you're currently viewing!]
Overwrite Institute Redone with this: Dark Institute Weapons
Then the black and red choice from Fusion Cell Reskin
And then these choices, in this order, from the fomod of Another Glowy Fallout Mod: Rediation Trefoil, Red, Red, White.
    Enjoy!

    Very nice looking reskin!
You mentioned an "optional file" in the description but the archive seems to be just one version though. I installed using NMM but browsed the .zip beforehand. Does it work if I do a simple drop-in replacement or is the optional file hidden in there somewhere just waiting to conflict?

Could you possibly upload a version with the more red and glow maps but also has a lighter color for the rifle itself? In a way that would match any of the white institute lab coats, predominantly Father's Lab Coat? I'd very much appreciate this.

I second this. I'd like a version with a vanilla color palette.

An underestimated mod in my eyes. Keep up the good work ! =)

Was doing an update of files and noticed a new version.

    Fantastic mod, thanks!

Because your mod has different version numbers on the different files, my mod manager think I have an old version of the mod and suggests I get the new one, since I'm using the default (version 1) but it can see one of the other versions (2 and 3). No big deal, just a heads up. Cool mod, and thanks!

Excellent reskin mod. They really do look not-plasticy now. This is a more pleasing reskin than the one that just makes them solid back.

Any chance we NMM users could get all three flavors of the mod, the same version? (I have been having as much fun modding as playing) With 117+ mods I find the new-version feature of NMM more and more useful... that is, if the mods different flavors all reflect the most current "version" ...

it's a problem with the overloading of the meaning of version. different flavors of the same mod are often called different versions, but in this case version really refers to iterations of mod through time/changes vs different flavors. yadda.

    Thanks!

I'm sorry, this is my first real time using Nexus to post my stuff. I'm not 100% sure what you mean. Could you private message me and help me out?
