Where you stand during import matters ...... but I don't know why. Best results on Spectacle Island occur when you stand in front of the Workshop. Also, once imported, anything that causes a Save will cause your PC to freeze until the settlement settles! Best to turn off all Saves in the in-game options until a couple of game days pass.
I’m going to try and install the Starship Orion at Starlight Drive In. I have other plans for Spectacle island. Any suggestions on that? Also, what’s the difference between Starship Prion stand-alone and the one you have with your other Insititite themed blueprints? Thanks.
Starship Orion will only install on spectacle island.The Powering the Commonwealth is the Starlight Drive-in Mod.They are associated with one site only.
There is no difference between the two ..... one mod just adds other Institute sites to make a complete set.
i dont have much luck with manual instalation of mods would it be possable to have a vortex sownload option madr i dont know how that works so if not sorry for asking
really love this blueprint but i was wandering if there is another way of powering the base without the SEO mod cause it ruins all the wiring stuff i have in my other settlements. :(
Having a bit of the problem. The living quarters don't seem to load in. I get the bed, sinks and other bits but the building it self doesn't load in and it's only that one. I'm aware that transfer settlements isn't 100% reliable but it's just odd that it's only that building missing every time I try importing.
So I've added all required mods from the list. The in game list shows i'm missing "dinoshelfextraammo.esp". I go ahead anyway and i get to 10% import and it freezes every time. I've set the transfer mod to the stable preset so in game elements didn't interrupt.
is that file mandatory? is clean and smooth mod mandatory? (cant find PC version anywhere Bethesda or nexus)
First check to see if dinoshelfextraammo.esp is enabled in your mod manager. If it doesn't exist then you have a problem with the Do It Yourshelf mod download. Try re-down loading.
The Clean & Smooth mod flattens the island to set up the space for the mod. Without it items will be buried ....... try searching Bethesda for Clean & Smooth Settlements. I am overseas at the moment and do not have the ability to check for the mod myself at the moment.
Agree completely! I still reminisce over FO3 and the Zeta DLC and every time I do I sigh wishing a similar DLC made it to FO4. At least we have this mod to role-play with, well as much as possible :) Thank you for mod!!
I do have a question though. Do the mods need to be active, ( esp's active ) like the turrets for example or does the mod just use assets as available? I ask as I have now a very stable game at last and do not wish to add too many esp's / esm's if at all possible

Saved game and exit, restart game and loaded... After all that, I install this mod. Again: Saved game and exit, restart game and loaded... AND: 1 - No one starship in this isle ! 2 - where is that blueprint holotape for starship ?!? Guide me please. Thanks in advance ! P.S. Better to you put that holotape for "Starship Orion" (like the "singers" or "synth fabrication" holotapes, as examples) blueprint on that barn who kept the chemistry station, near the hotel ! That barn still exist in any used mod. So, a holotape who can be find it in a specifically place
There is absolutely nothing around the Starship? The Starship itself is built from the Settlement Objects Expansion Pack (glass ramps) .... this one https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10075.Make sure the mod and esp are enabled.
No ..... the Starship is part of the plan. I am not aware of anyone else having the issue with it not appearing so it might be a conflicting mod.Load order of the mods can be an issue as well as some mods overwrite others.
I have Homemaker and SEO, with Homemaker loading first in the load order. Do you have any other similar mods?
Also, check their pages for potential conflicts .......
This "Load order" can be in the "Data Files" on the start game menu hud (game folder "Fallout 4\Launcher.exe") ? P.S. I also used the "Disable Radiant From ALL Factions'" with " the "main file" with the "minuteman disable" only...
What mod manager are you using .... Vortex, NMM , Mod Organizer, etc.They have a page that will show the load order of the Plugins for the mods that you have installed.That is the load order I am referring to ....
I use the Nexus Mod Manager, and no one "starship orion.......esm" file in the "plugins" of NMM after installation of that mod. Also, no one blueprint for starship in the "Transfer Settlement Holotape" or "SEO" menu. Is only "Starship Orion 2.0.json" file in "Data" folder / F4SE (2.0)/Plugins/TransferSettlements/blueprints/28/Starship Orion 2.0.json
Here is how you can help me diagnose the problem. Take screenshots of the area where the Starship should be located as well as the various buildings (including interiors). That will help me figure out what is going on .....
I have only Far Harbor and Automatron DLC's And how can I attach here (in the reply mode) some screenshots, because I already made 25 of them as "png" files ? Thanks again for your real support !
Ok .... so I think you are missing the required DLC for a couple of the MODs being used within my MOD.SOE requires Wasteland Workshop, Automatron and Vault-Tec Workshop for full functionality. My guess is that the components used in the Starship are part of the two missing DLC.
I will call that out in the description as I can see where that would lead to confusion ..... my apologies
I was curious if another mod could be used to set up spectacle island other than the Bethesda mod? Don't like the fact that Bethesda mods require that the load order get shived every time one is installed. thanx.

I like the idea that the Institute has a surface presence. Let's them "live on" in case you side with another faction.

I found a similar flatten spectacle island mod. It got the ball rolling and i managed a successful import.
However, i now have a similar problem as MatthewR1996.
The living quarters do not import just has Matthew described. I do have all the DLCs.
