    Attention:
    This mod is in a state of retirement and will no longer be the focus of my modding efforts for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend Classic Holstered Weapons System (CHW) as it is a system that requires far less effort on my part to use.

    In light of the recent changes to NexusMods' File Deletion Policy, I regret to inform you that my mods will remain up on Nexus for everyone to download.

    I have no intention to follow the misguided recklessness exhibited by other mod authors in the past week, nor do I intend to remove any of my mods from the Nexus, and I will by no means ruin the modding community by following suit and partaking in such irresponsible behaviour detrimental to the modding community even moreso than any of the policy changes. I will not stand with them as I do not share in their delusion.

    I have no intention of following these self-serving hypocrites who on one hand claim that mods are art, and on the other hand have the audacity to claim that their own mods are somehow 'more' than other mods.

    This kind of attitude from the self-proclaimed leaders of this so-called 'Nexodus' makes it plainly unacceptable for any modder worth their salt, in any conscience to agree with them in any capacity whatsoever.


    I will not follow suit and stand in some misguided or selfish folly of false 'solidarity' or 'protest' which would ultimately hurt the modding community more than anything else.

    Yes, you can change the positioning by opening up the .nif files in Bodyslide and Outfit Studio

    This model is smaller in size of the original weapon model, as I wanted it to be scaled properly to real life.

    How do I change the apparel slots?

    Open FO4Edit and load the mod you want to alter. Find the Armor Addon items for the weapon:

    Change the armor slot for each Armor Addon for that weapon item to the slot you want (I suggest 59 for long guns, 57 for small guns):

    Make sure you get all of them for that weapon, if there are more than one. (These are the different position choices offered by that mod.)
    Then you go to the Armor item for that weapon and make the same edit:

    Make sure you did everything consistently and didn't change anything else, and close and save FO4Edit.

    Awesome mod, but I'm stuck. Does anyone know how to modify the armor slots used for these weapons? The RU556, specifically. The player's tail added by the Furry Fallout mod uses slot 58, and when I equip the visible RU556, the tail disappears. I've been tampering with the slots in FO4Edit and nothing works. I've modified the Armor Addon slots to match the edited Armor slot for the gun, too, but when I equip the gun it doesn't show on my body. I've tried to use slots 51, 61, and 54. I can equip it, but there's no model whatsoever. I'm new to FO4Edit so I'm likely just overlooking something or being stupid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm trying to xedit the weapons positions so i could use smg and ar at the same time..... But the weapons keep disappearing everytime i tried in every slot.... Any help with this? Nice mod btw

    any help want to put ru556 mags on the right side of the pack have the weapon downloaded however when equip the mags to the back pack there pink any help

    As this mod is for modded weapons, does anyone know which mod covers vanilla weapons, such as Hunting Rifles, with full workbench cosmetic changes? Preferably so that the rifle is slung over a shoulder, leaving room for a backpack. Thank you.

    Great mod, shame that it is no longer updated.

    What am I doing wrong where the "holstered weapon" apparel piece doesn't go away when I draw the weapon? It's the Mk18 that I'm trying to get to work.

      In your inventory, under aid, there is Visible Weapons Config.
      If not, open console and type: help "visible weapons config" 0 then spawn the config with: player.additem xxx
      First make the MK18 your active chosen gun, then open/use the config to link the crafted (chemstation) holstered fake gun to your real MK18.
      Do this by going to apparel, double-click the (Holster) MK18, you should get a message the gun is linked.
      Drawing the real MK18 to fire should remove the holstered fake gun now...

      I finally figured this out with the Glock 19X

    When i try to move Ardent blade position onto the back side in Outfit studio, it always appear to be floating far away behind my back and seems to follow my movement instead, try stick it to a backpack still have same issue, is there a way to fix this ?

    For those having the same issue like me who can't equip melee weapon holsters, here's the fix I found for me.
    Something using the slot 61 which is pip-pad mod, I just changed the slot in mcm and tadaaa it finally works.

    When attempting to install this mod, MM2 states that the file structure is invalid. Any fixes for this?

      I went in and found the "Data" subdirectory inside the mod itself. No clue if the mod is actually going to work now, but MO2 recognizes it as valid?

      for mo2 expand the branch tree, look for the data folder right click on it and click on set as directory it should mark it as valid now and then click ok and it should install.
