    Hey, scavvers and explorers and all in-between, I am very sorry for the current state of the mod but theres nothing I can do to fix it in its current state, if you can get your hands on an older version from someone who has it then coolio I hope you get it working. If not, I'm sorry I guess some or all the scripts are missing for some reason, I no longer have any of the base files nor do I remember the code for the scripts themselves, and being as it seems to be playable for some but not for others there's really no way I can pinpoint what needs fixing. *sigh*

    I want to reiterate once more that I'm no longer maintaining this mod however I WILL at some point work on a more fleshed out, better, in-depth, version, along with some other projects that I do plan to work on in the near future that I think you will all find interesting, fun, or at the very least, odd!

    Currently, I am dealing with some issues IRL involving my housing situation. Possible military enlistment, and moving across the country in addition to taking care of myself and my pets in whatever way possible. Once I get myself into a more stable situation and employed or at the very least improve my mental state, I'll start taking a look into recreating this mod from scratch BETTER, we have the technology, it can be done. Once I am able, I may stream the creation of the mod if you want to keep up to date on its creation.

    I will also point you towards my currently work in progress discord server being used for a plethora of projects I have wanted to work on. which will be linked to this comment. I'm not done modding, and I'm not done creating, I have a lot of creativity left, but I need some time before I get back into the swing of things, Thank you all for your concern and interest in RD-Technologies.

    P.S. I have changed the Donation points ratio to give 100% of the DP I would receive from this mod to be given as cash to the "WCS" a Charity for saving wildlife. So if you can give a download, do it for the sake of giving something to that charity rather than to me as the creator.

    Alright, time to do my civic duty...

    So, there are perks needed to gain the ability to build any of the Cyberware in this mod. Reading other comments here suggests that the mod author made a mistake somewhere in the update and, as you may have experienced, the actions you perform in game, downloading Holotape Blueprints and the like, dose not get you any aforementioned perks. I'm no modder, so I have full sympathy for Raven here given how difficult this can be, but I also understand the frustration of users wanting to give this awesome concept a whirl.

    If you know what you're doing with console commands, specifically adding perks, skip down to the foreboding list a few paragraphs down, if you don't read on.

    With that being said, for anyone very new to tinkering like this, fist open the console, this should be the ' key (or your @ key, when shift typed, or the second key in from your enter key, on the lower row)

    Now, copy one of the codes below except for the dual x's. This denotes the load order of the mod. You can find its position in your load order by finding another item from this mod in your game, such as most anything in Raven's shop found in Concord (to the right as you enter from the road leading from Red Rocket, you should see and hear some turrets that aren't normally there), opening the console as above, and clicking on something the mod adds (to be safe, go inside and click Raven herself).

    Now comes the hard part, with the console open type in (without the quote marks) "player.addperk" followed by one of the listed codes below. Each has a very basic title beforehand to give you an idea of what each code unlocks.

    You'll notice that there are one or two duplicates, this is accurate, there are multiple levels to a few augments and a few different, similar named augs too.

    For the rookies amongst us, here's what your console command should look like.

    player.addperk 090236f1 (with the 09, of course, being an example and your first two digits likely being different)

    If any of these codes turn out to be innacurate, I do apologise, but I didn't have the luxury of just ripping them from FO4Edit; indeed, this was all born of me sitting down, typing in "help "RD_Technologies" 4 perk" in and slowly writing them out, so there is potential for errors (if only you now knew how to look up the codes yourself you go-getter, modder in the making you. Hint hint.)

    To close out this horribly overwritten console code list, I hope it breaths a touch of life into this mod by making it much easier for users to get their hands on the implants in game, there's huge potential for new mechanical fun and complexity here, and I hope at least one person finds this post helpful. I'm a huge fan of the CyberJam mod for FO:NV and of Shadowrun, so I love to see this kind of thing, and I hope things are going well IRL for you Raven, at least so much as you can have another crack at this one Chummer.

    So, is there no way to get the previous version? Honestly kind of surprised it isn't on the page in the files tab.

    can anyone toss me the old version that everyone says they're reverting to, 1.1? i don't want to install a busted mod.

    Anyone know where I can get a download of the 1.1 version of this mod? 2.1 really isnt cutting it and Idk when the redux will be done.

    For those having issues with the mod being broken, open the .esp on FO4Edit and note down the perks listed under Perk. Then give them to yourself through console commands.

    So it only just occurred to me but the reason for some holotapes not working or coming out of the terminals could be because some of you don't have the newest .ba2 file installed so i suggest if you have this issue to go into the data files of fallout 4 delete the current RD_Technologies.ba2 and RD_Technologies.esp files and insert the 2 from the most recent iteration of the mod in the files of this page. see if that fixes it.

      I used the current, v2.1, .esp and BA2 files from this page and still no holotape from the terminal in Cambridge Polymer Labs.

      I reinstalled v1.1.
      It works better, for me anyway.

    so how will I install cybernetics? is this like EXALT cybernetics where I have to use a piece of armor to equip cybernetic and unequip every time or is this like new vegas where implants are perks.

    Mod seems to be installed and working however I cant seem to get any blueprints from found terminals. Not even the first one from Ravens terminal? Anyone know how to fix or if there is a way to bypass it and maybe add it in another way?

      New too this mod but want it working very badly.
      Looked for solutions after getting holotapes . (Stole them only due too not getting them the proper way)
      Then found after reading every holotape (Twice after reading here there is need too read every entry - enter way through pages, not tab out )
      Then still no ability too make anything. Learned then the holotapes are not giving player the "Perk" too build with.
      Console ~ help schematic 4 perk
      Now have list of the perks you are supposed too get from the holotapes
      Console ~ player,addperk ******* (being the ID from the list )
      I got the perks I knew I should have and left those not yet found, ie Greentech, Institute. But well gave myself the General atomic's one for I had been there and got no holotape.

      Fact that this mod is no longer being Maintained is a great shame for for the obvious effort gone into it.
      With ever increasing mods found offsite for player too be a Synth, This mod enhances that perfectly.
      For that alone and the effort given this mod I still Endorse it, despite the bugs

    I poked around a bit in the download and noticed that it is completely missing any of the scripts - which are required to do things like make the holotapes show up or to make the holotapes give the perks that they're supposed to give. Those need to be packaged into the .ba2 file in order for the mod to work properly, and that explains why the mod doesn't work - the current version simply doesn't have any scripts at all and the mod requires scripts to function.


    If you still have the source, you should be able to just re-package and re-upload to fix the problems people had and make the mod work.

    Great to have it back! this mod is working just fine ;) Anyone with "issues", you need patience and the will to explore. Start in Concord for the vendor..
