It doesn't work for me. Nothing happens, nothing changes, i doublechecked everything. Layton towers inside and outside is identical as it was before installing and enabling the mod.
The only change i see is 2 water towers outside and the ability to open the workshop menu. Otherwise, nothing has changed, the interior is identical, just as broken and with dead raiders. ALso, i cannot scrap anything inside, with all scrap mods on the planet.
Hello and happy new year. i really like your mod and because i use, 4 scrap mods, i can expand it and make it maybe 3 or 4 times bigger. Please, if you time, build a clone of that at Nuka-world or Far harbor(maybe south west). That's all. Thanks.
I have learned the hard way (and Kingath was kind enough to tell me) that if you add a settlement mod to the game, you must never ever ever remove it because it borks the way the game counts settlements or something. I already have Back bay installed. If I swap the old Back Bay out for yours, do they use the same number thingy or will it bork?
Will it also not bork if I never activated the Back Bay workbench?
Well, if you remove settlement MOD but continue game, the stuff you built there will stay, and settlers also, though they do act borked indeed.
As to Back Bay, removing it, if you already built there will make those builds borked, sorry to say, however, if you didn't build there, then you can swap without problem I would say!
I think there might be a little glitch in Layton Towers Exterior Settlement. I am unable to send Provisoners there. I'll look into this and try to fix it, but meanwhile you might want to build supply lines to this settlement by sending them from it, rather than to it.
I would be interested to know if anyone else has this behavior.
Are you running Scrap Everything, I forget honestly, but I have that issue with a LOT of settlements, not just yours, but lots of settlements - it may have something to do with how it affects areas of the commonwealth. It's not severe enough to break your game, but something like that will have odd effects. It's still worth keeping scrap everything, because of the control it gives the player/builder in the game. Generally make a vanilla settlement your base of operations. Then expand to other settlements, and send one provisioner from each added/mod settlement back to the vanilla base-of-operations (BOO) settlement.
Now, if your settlement does *NOT* show up in the list to accept provisioners sent to it, that, THAT is a bug and should be fixed. this can also mean that the game did not properly attach the settlement workshop scripts to your settlement workbench, and your location. Starlight, hangman's alley, or any number of others, seem to be decent. It's hit or miss if the settlement will accept settlers sent TO it as provisioners, but it always works sending them *FROM* it.
Also, keep in mind, if you send a settler from one settlement to another, to move them (say, from an intentionally smaller settlement, to a larger one), it may take a day (with the unofficial patch) for them to actually 'kick in' the change, as the settlement daily update will then run, and they will decide to walk there.
i have some questions, i can use both files? and the provisioner you mean the settlers or is the caravan ? besides this there is no conflict at all right?
Ok, so an update on this. The cause of this glitch wasn't finally what I thought it was, though the thing I found will be fixed in next update. However, this glitch is getting on me, so I will take a look, and another, maybe even third, on solving this, as I might have just forgotten to do something, or done a slight mistake when building this settlement. Sorry for the inconvenience!
I absolutely LOVE the idea of having a player-owned settlement in the city and the fact that it's an in apartment building just makes it that much better. I see I'm going to have to fix up some of those walls though ???? My settlers have a right to their privacy afterall

EDIT 2: Is the RTF file necessary if you're not using the back bay optional file?
I myself think that the Interior settlement is really fun to build at, and exterior settlement isn't far behind, especially if you add the Back Bay Penthouse.

And otherwise nothing has been changed yes, except those added Water Towers.

Happy borking to you! :P

Open two separate FO4EDITs and compare known good & possible bad ESP's side-by-side.
This helps!
Check your log to see if your settlement locale/workbench isn't binding to the workshop parent scripts right.
BTW, I do have Scrap Everything.
