Could you possibly upload a version of the mod with a transparent/semi-transparent third person hud? Solid hud in third person doesn't feel realistic an a mod older than this one was able to accomplish it: Power Armor Helmet Style Visor 16 by 9 Aspect Ratio Only. Please let me know what could be done as I want to start a fresh playthrough with this hud but that third person camera is holding me back
There is no [Launcher] heading in fallout4prefs.ini I'm really confused where to put the text line. Also, there is no Fallout4Custom.ini in my game directory. I've got a ton of mods installed using Mod organizer and achievement enabler mod so unsure if they could affect this? Really want this installed, ever since I first played, it looks great from the screenshots.
Edit: Solved by the man above, found the in game tab and went from there. Working perfectly; this out of 70 mods is the biggest game changer for me so thanks very much Hellstorm. Wish the in games mod search actually worked, literally the worst search bar I have ever seen and I am old enough to remember ask jeeves....
For some reason I could not get the dark version to work. A guess is that it is caused by some visual mod because even completely dark textures are gray. I managed to fix hack this by duplicating "padash04_d.dds" and calling it "padash04_s.dds" and then making it completely black using GIMP.
Is this how you use specular maps? No!
Does it work?... It's dark now... :D
(Just thought I'd share it if someone encounters the same problem)
Is there a way to have a curved dip at the top, akin to a worn down stalagtite, to show the top of the PA helmet eyeslit? I'm referring to the PA on the cover of FO1; although the ones of plain FO3 (not GotY), FO4 & FO76 also have a PA helmet eyeslit top dip.
I don't want one so pronounced as those images, just a reference to it taking ~1/8 of the screen in the middle; but perhaps there can also be a more "realist" version.
Is the hud supposed to be unaffected by lighting? It has both normal and spectacular maps so you'd think it would be affected by light conditions, but it doesn't seem to work.

fPAEffectColorR=0
fPAEffectColorG=.7
fPAEffectColorB=0
These values can change the ugly orange interface color to whatever you want!
The ones provided will make it green, the values are from 0 to 1
[Display]
fPipboyScreenEmitIntensityPA=1.0000
fPipboyScreenDiffuseIntensityPA=1.0000
these values will tone down the over-saturation in the power armor hud
