==================================================

1. Introduction :

The purpose of this mod is to fix a common bug that makes the player's (and optionnaly NPCs) faces turn brown when reloading a savegame.

Question: Do I have to do something special once the mod is installed?
Answer: No, the mod is completely autonomous, you have nothing to take care of.

Question: Does it have an impact on performance?
Answer: No. The game will not even notice that the mod is installed. But you and your character will.

Question: Is this compatible with my other mods?
Answer: Yes, it should work with everything.

Question: What about the load order?
Answer: It doesn't matter at all, put it where you want.

Question: Does this fixes the issues with the Official HD Texture Pack (or custom face textures)?
Answer: No, this only fixes an old game engine bug that occurs when you reload your savegame.
Texture fixes can be found on the nexus.

2. Configuration and Usage :

To configure the mod, open the "F4SE\Plugins\RustyFaceFix.ini" file with a text editor of your choice. Here are the options that can be configured:

facegen_player: Indicates to the mod that the player's facegen should be taken into account when loading a game.

facegen_npcs: Indicates to the mod that the facegens of NPCs should be taken into account when loading a game (and during the game if streaming_mode is enabled).

streaming_mode: Indicates to the mod that all newly loaded NPCs should be automatically corrected during your game. If you encounter problems, try disabling this option first.

fast_mode: Allows the mod to perform the face regeneration process just before the end of loading a save game to reduce the chances that the operation will be visible.

refresh_equipment: Allows to refresh the equipment of actors at the same time as their face to avoid a potential bug that would make them invisible if their outfit contains meshes affected by physics.

excluded_races: In addition to the basic selection process, all actors from those races will be ignored by the Fix (EditorID, separated by commas).

debug_mode: This option allows the mod to log its operations in order to detect a potential problem.

plugin_filename: This is the name of the required (light) plugin for the mod to work.
(if you were using "Rusty Face Fix.esl" from v1.x and don't want to change your current load order, rename the new plugin, uncomment this line and set it's value to "Rusty Face Fix.esl")

--------------------------------------------------

To manually correct the player or an NPC's face using the console:

1. Open the console using the tilde key (~).
2. Click on the actor whose face you want to regenerate.
3. Type "rff" into the console and confirm.
