been running around for a while now looking for this. resetting the vendors, running through all of them, taking out gunner leaders, and raider bosses and still yet to find one. am i just unlucky or did the new update mess with the spawn rates-
The new update shouldn't have affected anything on that front. You may just not be the right level yet (the gun won't start showing up until around level 25) or the mod is straight up not active. You can check if it's active by opening the console and using the command help devil 4 or help satan 4; if the mod's active you should see various OMOD entries with Devil or Satan in the name, i.e. "Snubnose Devil Barrel". If you don't see anything like that then the mod's not active.
I've been using this neat and cool looking mod for quite a while. It has that handcannon feeling, the sound is really cool and the customization options are really nice. Thank a bunch for an awesome mod.
So... No Kellog Replacer? I came to Fort Hagen via Main quest. Killed Kellog... And he wields his STANDART REVOLVER when its supposed to be this one. WTF?
The Kellogg replacer is a separate, optional patch, it's not a part of the main mod. Said patch is included in the main download and has to be installed separately. If you installed the mod with Vortex, it won't have automatically installed said patch.
But how do i install said patch if its supposed to install it automatically since its said than REPLACEMENT INCLUDED? If it is included then in Vortex variant of installation supposed to appear that suggest to install said patch. But it isnt. Tried to install it manually by putting said patch in Data folder of Fallout 4... He still have his standart revolver. P.S I said "f*#@ it!" and just modified standart revolver than i bought from Arthuro. But yeah... Its kinda f*#@-up with installation via Vortex. I recommend to check that and then fix.
It's not supposed to install automatically, it's optional, so it's meant to be installed at the discretion of the user. The description on the main file outright says "Includes optional replacer for Kellogg's pistol", that's not meant to indicate that the patch is folded into the main mod or that it will automatically install with the main mod, it's just informing the user that the patch is included in the main download. To avoid this confusion in the future I'm just gonna upload the patch as a separate file, that should also make it less complicated to install for Vortex users.
There is, however, a limitation to the patch, and this is notthe patch's fault but just how the game works, and is something I know needs to be indicated somewhere: If the patch isn't active early enough in your game, Kellogg's pistol won't get replaced. I'm not sure how early on it has to be, if it needs to be on a completely new game or before you start the Fort Hagen quest, I just know it won't work if you're already on the Fort Hagen quest because the game has already set his pistol in stone.
Are you looking for one of the unique, or the base gun? The base gun is level-listed and won't show up until you're at least level 25. Your best bet to finding one is visiting a gun vendor, KLEO in Goodneighbor is a good option.
Make sure you have the MCM menu's files installed properly, and that you have mods that use an MCM menu. If you're using Vortex, make sure the MCM mod was properly deployed. I'm not sure the MCM config menu shows up if you don't have any mods that can be configured.

The MCM (Mod Configuration Menu) button to show up and do the stuff doesn't show on the menu (ingame menu too), any help? (Latest F4SE version)
