I tried to download your file through NMM and it still isn't working. A really simple mod such as this would be really helpful and a welcome addition to any mod list. I hope you'll have the time to fix it soon.
so in RAR archive you have 'Simple Food Fix.esp' and "Simple Food Fix (folder)\Simple Food Fix.esp". By timestamps both plugins seem identical. You may want to, at least name your archive, if not plugin as well, the same as your mod tittle; Simple Food Ratio Fix. Although its hardly fix but rather a tweak. Also, was changed in version 1.1?
Otherwise, great idea. Good luck!
Edit: so, you did a bit more in your mod then you put in description. For example, you changed how many steaks you get from Mirelurk queen or that dishes that required bloodpacks now require purified water. Exact changes, one by one in description wouldn't hurt.
Thank you so much for your feedback, I made some of the changes you suggested. As I stated in the description this is my first mod so literally any feedback helps. Sorry I could not get to this sooner.
btw: nothing was changed in 1.1 or 1.2, I just changed the file names when I realized that I uploaded the files wrong (such as putting two of the same .esps in the file). In my experience with other sites, when I re-upload content, I have to change the name of the file for any little change I make. I understand this is not required here but it helps me immensely. Also, I don't believe I changed how many steaks you get from the Mirelurk queen but I'll check into it. Once again thank you for the feedback and the download.
if you change version number you should always state why in logs section, no matter how minor the changes are. It seems to me that you are doing this in Creation Kit, which is not a good idea for this sort of mod. Get FO4Edit and compare everything you made there. Amongst other things, you will clearly see Mirelurk queen entries. You can find tutorials on tool's page. This video is about creating patches for Skyrim but shows principle of the tool for any Bethesda game nicely.
F04Edit is a nice tool but I think I still prefer the creation kit. On the Mirelurk queen, the meat you get from the animal remains the same, the only thing different is the recipe (it's now 1:1 instead of Vanilla 1:2), I believe I already stated in the description that I changed stuff like this but I guess I can stress this a little bit more. I'll start including version numbers and logs if you consider it so important, but seriously once again thank you for the help.
Sure, if CK is what you like but it's always a good idea to double check your work in xEdit. CK can sometimes be wonky when it comes to reverting changes or saving plugins.
