And I have a mod which lets you have vanilla weapons worn on back etc, I forget which as I have a few, but think its armoursmith, which I use with Visible Weapons too, and theres a hunting rifle option which you can wear on back that does use this texture too as it replaces all the hunting rifles inn the game atm :)
hahaha nice. I think id be staring at my barrel too much and end up getting royally taken out! xD
Though having said that I do plan to add more different types in the future, and when it gets the ability to be added as a paint on the workbench it'll be nice to have a few diff' options :D
It is actually really simple to make a weapon retexture into an applicable paint job. I could help you through it dangermouse330. Would just need to rename the Texture file, create a new .BGSM file and apply a Material swap via a craftable Omod. I could possibly make it in under 10 minutes as I have plenty of experience with it from making my own weapon skin mod

(You have to, right?!?)
If you like it I can send you the .dds, but I imagine you could do it a lot better.
And I asked in my other post, but - I'd like to use this in a Visible Weapons on Packs mod I'm working on, would you mind??
I can help you with the standalone version too if you want, pretty straightforward in FO4Edit.
Please do feel free to use as you see fit!!
And appologies for the late reply! D:
