To this day I have tried many ENB presets but usually end up deleting ENB due most straying too far from the artistic vision of the game.
I think I have finally found the one.
I darkened the night a little and used HappoMatka's DOF fix below and now the game looks like it got a current gen update without drastically altering the feel of the game. Now I don't see myself ever going back to playing without ENB.
Thank you so much!
Edit: After spending a lot of time with this preset, I unfortunately had to uninstall because of a bug with night vision no longer working and narrowed it down to this particular mod. Please let me know if you are able to fix this, as I would love to continue using it.
enjoying the new look of this preset. idk if it is only me, however, or that there is this one problem with the depth of field: in first person, aiming down sight using an assault rifle with standard sights will cause the target to blur, only able to see the sights itself clearly
btw i can change sights and am using third person for the playthrough so wouldnt be too big a problem, think it could be an issue with the dof setting though
I know this is an old post that i'm replyin to, but just tested this enb and noticed this same issue wich was relieved with changing DOF: Near blur curve= From 1.0 to 0.5 just by a whim.. from the enbdepthoffield.fx.ini or from the in game menu.
I dont know if I am doing something wrong but I think this enb is not applying. Its still vanilla colors on my end Do I have to do something else besides placing the two enb dll and your files?
Thank you! Yes please tweak as you see fit that's all I did and if your really feeling froggy you can read up a little on how modular shader library works and there are bunch of other shaders you can enable and disable to further customize. But note some of the other shaders require an update to the time of day code to function properly.
It is available in the file section or if you want you can put all options together your self (links are in the description) then adjust to your preferences.
Well I can't tell any difference on my old gtx 780 but my 1080 ti should be here tomorrow and i'll try to get a better answer for you and update the description and this post.
Honestly I cant see any impact on either card, so the best thing to do is try it yourself (mainly because every system is different, mod lists are different, your personal settings are different) if it's to much of a hit for your system just delete the enb series folder, enbseries.ini, and enblocal.ini and install another preset. Repeat until you find one that looks good to you and runs how you feel it should run.
open up enblocal.ini in a text editor scroll to the bottom to find the key fields for the enb gui and change them to a key of preference, if you don't know the number of the key you want to use just search key numbers in google the top links should have a list of keys and the number associated with it. change the key number for keyeditor and keyshowfps and any other option you may want. save the file start fallout and your good to go.
