    Based on responses to my survey (which you can still take at https://s.surveyplanet.com/HyMwyB4sf?) I'm going to be starting to make some City Plans. I will be only updating CbC for bug fixes while I do this.
    Checklist before asking about bugs
    Q1) Where is the holotape?
    A1) Craftable at a City Planner Desk.

    Q2) No desks or your leaders are not showing up!
    A2) Run my holotape (see Q1).

    Q3) I cannot assign one of your leaders!
    A3) The leaders I made are complex because I avoided editing them. You may have to reload the cell (leave far away and return), wait a while for scripts, Quit to menu and load your save, or FOR DOGMEAT you have to dismiss him to a settlement (it might have to be one you aren't standing in and/or the one you want him to lead) also you shouldn't be okay with assigning someone to lead a settlement if you don't know their name.

    Bug reports need a little bit of detail and if you haven't tried the above (or stated that you have) I am just going to link this post in reply.

    I've reached out to Skuzzkitty because there is a stray edit on Professor Goodfeels in their leader pack. Just make sure to load mine after theirs.

    For now, Version 2.8,there won't be a FOMOD. I know they help with organization in NMM, but I don't have the patience to fix it.

    I miss the Ultra Compact suitcase computer. It was my favorite settlement management way that felt lore friendly on being portable.

    Heck i'd have loved it to be an alternative to the pipboy. Just this suitcase you carry to handle most stuff and it could be an alternate way to hack terminals. But that's just a dream.

      It is a lot of hard work because my standards have shifted and I have to learn the new system. I have plans though.

      I can imagine it would be hard, your mod is so full of wonderful goodies, I can't even imagine all it would entail, but if you do, you're gonna have a lot of people dancing for joy heh.  Thanks for all your amazing work and creations that I can't be without.

      understandable on the rework work effort. i would be bashing my head on the wall. just want to say i really do Miss this stuff in the 'new' world.

    So, I've got one of the bunker of the deserter plots that seems to be having issues. When it upgraded to level two i picked the fleeing scientist option - now it's saying it's ready for an upgrade again, but has no upgrade options when I go to choose an upgrade. The list is just empty.

      As best as i can tell you should be selecting anything on upgrade because it no longer branches. The plot has a level 1 "base" and then levels 2 & 3 are chosen when it branches. I am embarassed to say that I've been modding more than playing so i've never seen it upgrade "in the wild". If it continues to want to upgrade but nothing happens then try setting the ASAM to allow auto upgrades on the plot.

      Yeah, I set it to auto-upgrade to see if anything would happen if I just left it alone and it just... never upgraded. It also seems to no longer be ready to even attempt to upgrade.

      I feel *really dumb* for not trying this sooner. I just remembered plots have a "refresh plot" option. Hit that and it instantly upgraded to level 3.

      I am experiencing this same issue. Same plot -- mine is on the BoS (Power Armor) Branch. I have set it to auto upgrade, and refreshed the plot but it won't advance to level 3.

      I have the same problem with the BoS version. The plot is lvl 2, ready to upgrade but it wont advance. I have tried refreshing the plot with and without auto-updates enabled. Nothing happens. Also the upgrade menu is empty.

      If refresh doesn't work along with auto upgrade, maybe try picking up the plot (just say build the same thing) and then just put it right back down.  Sometimes that'll kick the buggers into action.  I hope that works, if not, back to the Cap!

    not sure what is going wrong, I have installed the mod and I used the holotape and everything looks in order, but I am not getting any of the leader options, not one of them. Might need an update or maybe there is a mod conflict in my list not sure.

    Not sure if its a bug, which is why I put it here in posts. Dunno if it's something with the new update for the SimSettlements.esm or not but your holotape at the top of the Vault 111 steps wont play anymore. Gonna redownload this and re-install in the hopes that mebbie the rain here cause an electrical spike n mussed something up on my SSD drives. Love the Coots stuff. heh. Why the blank holotapes in the Sanctuary bunker though? Any thoughts of just removing them? Normally I just give em to Trashcan Carla just to get them out of my inventory. heh.

    Whenever I try to run the holotape, it just circles back to the "installation" page without ever actually loading the information, so I still can't access the desks or leaders. Sadface.

    Any idea what boneheaded me might be doing wrong here?

    Late Edit: Started a new game and for some reason it works fine now. So... I dunno, man. *Shrug*

      I'm having this too. Started a fresh game. I guess cause the tape is outside the vault door. Trying to load it first probably breaks it.

      Seems loading a save before the tape didn't fix it. Back to the shelf with fallout.

      im having this issue as well, i feel like it might have to do with it not being up to date with the current SS but i could be wrong. i was doing fine until i used the holotape and using the tools in the holotape and MCM didnt help at all

      This has all occurred since the implementation of the MCM integration with Sim Settlements. Imma talk to King Gath and see what he thinks. It is literally such an easy logical switch in my holotape that I cannot actually see the problem.

      Ditto. Same problem. Clicking [Ok] but it circles back to [Ok] on the Coots holotape. Side note, tried uninstalling the esp, caused my saves to nearly instant CTD.

      Yea, can confirm that too :( can't access new things and trying to do a clean save result in a ctd when saving for reinstalling again the mod... is there any workaround?
      Edit: don't know if this can help you detect the issue but i opened your holotape before ss, then opened ss and installed it after that now your holotape just let me click on "ok" forever, is there a way to reset it so i can proceed without restarting the game?

      This makes NO sense to me. I will give it another investigation, but it just plain shouldn't happen. Can you, after installing the SS holotape, save and quit and reload and then wait a few and try mine? I cannot replicate this at all, I may need you guys to show me the value for certain Globals:

      ok so i want to go also in more detail as maybe i didn't say that but the message in your holotape says (ever time) that it has detected that sim is ok etc so it's only ask to press ok to continue, said that here's the result of the two globals:
      COOTS_SoftwareInstalled=0.00
      kgSIM_PipboySoftwareInstalled=1.00
      edit: anyway i tried and set manually the coots_softwareinstalled to 1 and now seems i'm able to access the leader tables, so maybe it's just the global that it doesn't set properly?

      Yeah I have been using a function that is apparently not very thread friendly. I've edited it locally today and will release it eventually.

      set coots_softwareinstalled to 1 fixed my problem as well.
      The holotape was looping and there were no tables in the settlement menu, only craftable from the desks.

    So I’m playing this on Xbox and I’m having the worst time trying to make Goodfeels city leader. I tried multiple times, whether he’s still there, right after I get the settlement or if I leave and come back and he’s gone. I tried dozens of times to run the leader repair option but nothing happens, no new options show up (obviously I’m in Sunshine when doing it). With the Xbox limitations for mods I have very few mods that aren’t plots for SS. Place anywhere, better sorting, a few mods that vault signs, cooking items or manufacturing options. I placed it as the last in my load order thinking it would mean nothing would override these but nothing seems to help. Any ideas what I could do to make him work? I know it worked in my test game (I played a quick game to see a bunch of leaders, plots and desks) but in this game nothing works

    EDIT: No idea what I’ve done differently this time but it worked.

    Should I load this before or after the Sim Settlements Mega Pack - Year Two https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37983 ?There are a few FO4edit conflicts involving workshop items. Thanks and great work!
