    Just started using this mod, loved it first go as it worked a treat with about 170+mods. I then added another 15 mods and am having a problem. Will go through list removing/testing but thought I would ask here first. 

    Problem is that I never get to the select Face/body menu. I hear the squeaking of cleaning mirror but 'view' never swing around so I'm looking at character. Instead Nora is standing in front of the mirror. I can walk around talk to codsworth. I am also seeing what looks like all the mods that have little messages like 'xyz loaded', 'updating abc', 'Map updated' scroll by. None of them are interactive dialogues though. I do have latest FO4/F4SE and as mentioned this did work once. I am running through MO2 via F4SE.

    Any words of wisdom?

      Something has messed with the new game startup quest MQ101 and/or mirror sceen and/or the start game triggers in prewar sanctuary player house. 

      To see if sonething is distributing a modified scripts you have to open every BA2 BA2 archive and look for script files with *MQ101* in them. Also xEdit look at the prewar sancturay worldspace cells. Yikes !

      Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately I don't know much about xEdit nor examining BA2 files. Since it worked before adding the new mods I might just go through a remove/test cycle to find the offending mod(s). Will spend some time on it but in the end might have weigh the whole cost/benefit ratio.

      EDIT: Got lucky on my 2nd test, turns out Far West Minutemen and The Bleachers were the offending mods. Thought I would post in case others run into the problem.

      There is absolutley no reason for such solutions to touch the base game startup environment. Mad.

      Unfortunately I will have to retract my test results. While I had successfully done a remove/test/add/test cycle twice I now can't get it to work consistently. For instance, with 10 New Game starts, it only worked for me twice, without any changes at all. 

      There must be some other conflicts and with this many mods the new game load times are a bit long. I might create new profile with minimal mods and continue testing in small chunks. I mean want to spend some time playing game ;-) I will let you know if i discover anything more concrete.

      EDIT: Turns out that my problems had nothing to do with SKK Fast Start New Game or any mods. Seems I was choosing to 'T)Skip' too quickly. If I skip while 'Bethesda' is being display I never see the Looks menu/mirror scene. No wonder I couldn't get consistent successes/failures [sigh]  Sorry to have bothered ya.

      I am surprised that the game lets you press (T) to skip before the MQ101 main quest handler (that FastStart interectps) has properly fired up.

      Even on my potato test PC I can stab (T) furiously as soon as I select [ New Game ] and it always works fine.

      I was surprised too but I can reproduce it consistently. As a coder I would consider this a vanilla bug to be honest. I do have 195 mods maybe that has something to do with it. Out of curiosity, can you see the 'T) Skip' if you hit T or enter just as the 'Bethesda' displaying?

      Understanging how the game platform is designed, I doubt it is a defect.

      You are trying to initialize a tonne of extra scripts and which are going to be stealing time from MQ101 so it just not ready for you. Not many understand that Papyrus script functions can take 1 display frame to process, so even running uncapped load screens at 600 fps its going to take a tonne of time to initialize a bunch of mods, especially super script heavy ones like [those I avoid].     Fantastic mod (replaced SMU with this). Just recently started re-visiting FO4, have my load order very heavy at the moment and this works like a charm. I even found a couple of mods that are inappropriately adding items to the PC's inventory too early (as you'd mentioned) and just made a patch of your mod with those items in the LL, problem solved, super handy with a constantly evolving load order/new game cycle. Can't wait to play around with some of your other mods, and I have to say major props on the description pages. Holy s#*! the detail is great. :throws all the Kudosâ„¢ at you:

    Hey SKK50, thanks for this mod firstly. Secondly I wanted to ask, can I ESLify (aka tag it as ESL in Xedit) this mod and Fast Start Locations?

      Honestly dont know. I dont mess with ESLs as they are an encumberance when trying to maintain scripted solutions. Best to give it a go and see what happens.

      Just trying to figure out why you'd need to do that. You can put it at end of load order and uncheck it next time you restart the game. It doesn't need to stay resident for your whole play through; just like the first n minutes. Once you're out- you're there. Amazing! (But true)!

      Unless you want to visit Vault111 in which case it MUST stay active as it has a tonne of animation triggers on standby.

      People need to stop asking about ESL flagging and do a simple Google search (click this for one of several guides out there).
      And this
      Failing the above, search for "GamerPoets ESL" on YouTube.

      If there are any Form IDs in the ESP that are directly referenced in a script that are not in the range usable for an ESL file (800 - FFF), you can't just compact the Form IDs as it will break that code in the script. There are few other caveats, but you can easily find files that are already able to be flagged in xEdit by loading it with the "-pseudoESL" parameter.

      I'm not trying to be an ass when I say this (some people take this next sort of comment badly for whatever reason), but please everyone that reads this, do yourself a favor and read up on ESLs and stop asking mod authors to "just do it."

    Awesome mod, and dare I call it a Utility!
    Trying to hunt down which mod is causing previs issue in Vault 111 and attempting to navigate the missing spaces was just giving me a headache.
    Enter this mod, and I can look into other things and deal with that minor issue at will.

    SO Funny story (real quick):

    Went back into v111 to see if the previs issue persisted, and standing around was Mr. Dipietro from Sanctuary Hills 200 years prior, all vaultsuited up with nowhere to go and nothing to say...  Talk about lost! xD

    Probably not the fault of this mod (more likely load order, threads issue), subsequent restart did not result in same, just didn't know who this guy was until I looked him up. (Pays to know your neighbors i guess).

    I had to revert to Start Me Up because this mod would get stuck loading after creating my character. I've had this issue before, but it let me get to the vault exit maybe after 2 failed attempts. Now it doesn't get there at all.

      Thats typically an issue with animations that trigger in V111 as the player "passes through" behind the loadscreen to leave them in "as used" state.  Probably some weapon replacer has changed an animation or something.

      Solutions that dont try and leave Vault 111 in an "as used" state like SMU and my own Synthetic Player have no such issues.

      That points to a Vault 111 animation issue, as they were being pre-loaded in the pervious versions.

      Try going back to the vault after starting so the animations can play to see if there are still any issues in there. If you have an Open Anything ring on standby that can help with debugging.

    neat update!
    I only have a couple of your Fast mods now but I had Distributed DLC Leveled Lists before and all of them used to "happen" awkwardly at a cryopod in Vault 111
    not everything happens outside of Vault 111 - which is super extra nice

    Hi, thanks for this amazingly timed update. I have been using your mods for years on every Fallout 4 installation because of their obvious qualities, but installing the game and mods yesterday had me run into the bug where the V111 PA voice kept playing in interiors cells. I spent nearly an entire day trying to figure out what in the hell is going on, but then you arrive out of the blue to drop an update that seemingly fixes it.

    I think Sim Settlements 2 seems to affect this mod, in that I was not getting the prompt to select my SPECIAL stats until I disabled it.

      I believe (dont know) that Sim Settlements pops message dialogs during the startup sequence.

      If so, that will clearly conflict with any alternate/fast start solution that needs to control the game start.
