great patch for a great mod. way more immersive than horizons memory module.

however there is a minor issue since the horizon 1.7.x update.
there was a change affecting crafting components and now the empty cigarette packs have "packing material OUTDATED"

it was pretty easy to fix it with fo4edit.
just select the new component via the dropdown for all misc items

hey, recently played with horizon and this patch and really liked your tweaks, now i'm back to a non horizon playthrough and i miss your tweaks dearly, especially the reduced number of cigs that you get from opening packs.

could you point me in the right direction where the quantity per packet is set? i've skimmed through the esp and the source scripts and can't seem to find it.

For some reason, cigarette's stat boosts are stuck on my character. I missed the moment when it happened, but while my pip-boy shows no effects, both agility and perception has (+) signs and are raised by 4. So, it probably happened twice. Now I'm afraid that it could happen to XP boost too. I have no idea how it happened - maybe it was a script glitch or something.

So, the question is: how do I remove them?
I tried the 'player.dispel' console command, but it looks like it only works with 'ENCH' effects. Just to be safe I found ALL fortify perception enchantments in my game (help "Fortify Perception 4") and ran 'player.dispel' with all of them, but it didn't help. Is there a better way to get rid of them?

Oh god that sucks, ive never heard of that happening before...im not really that savy with solving problems like that, im not really sure how all these mods work all i really do is adjust existing values..
Have you tried joining the horizon discord and asking someone there? I think theres a link to it on the horizon page. There are some really smart guys who know their stuff (they know a hell of a lot more than me thats for sure) and a lot of them install a couple hundred mods so im sure someone has had a similar issue. If i ever have an issue i just post the question and theres usually someone who knows something...
I havent really had the chance to even use the mods ive patched, ive pretty much spent the last 9 months patching things so i havent really had the chance to even troubleshoot anything myself..

Ok, thanks, I'll try my luck there ))
By the way, how did you made cigarette's animation shorter? I'm looking at the plugin in FO4Edit and can't find the exact change )

Hermmm it was a while when i edited it...its really really easy, i think its just a magic effect in the actual item, im just not at my pc and cant remember what its called. If you select, say, the cigarette it will be near the bottom of the item.
The number is in seconds, so it will be set at 15 after i edited it (so whatever magic effect is set at 15 will be it).
..if your adjusting it you sort of have to go in and out and make sure you dont adjust it so your player doesnt just stop at a weird point during the animation. I think 15 was as short as i could make it without things looking weird.

      Thanks, I found it!
Found the problem with the stats too - apparently, this is a vanilla bug. Sometimes, sleeping with temporal stat bonuses makes them stuck and it can only be cured with [modav.statname #] console command.

      Ah ok!
Now that you mention that, I heard of that happening a while ago but totally forgot about it...well, at least theres a fix for it. I like to add a lot of gear and items that alters special stats to my playthroughs so it will be good info to have because something like this will happen to me for sure..

I'm a little worried about cell corruption and I avoid auto-saves like the plague in all Bethesda games (having been burned multiple times in FO3, FNV, and Skyrim). I'm not fussed about any other changes (although some of the variants you've made are awesome), just would love to see that as a base modifiable option. Sleep or Save (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12262) has that as an option, and I use it to change the beds/sleeping mattresses to hard-saves via that. But cigarette auto-saves are separate and I find cigarette saving to be much more immersive and the animation kicks ass too.

Oh man im not even sure at all how to do that! I guess i can download sleep or save and take a look at its option and see if i can figure it out. Im busy with the family today but i will look at it at some point this week.

I planned on just disabling the save feature, i wanted this mod as a way to add more xp. i just love levelling up! I figure its less cheaty than just adding an xp boost to myself via foedit, lol....

All good, Rick. Thanks for taking a look into it nonetheless!
