Update: Turns out it was a problem with the terrible "Nexus Mod Manager" program which is used to manage mods. It doesn't clearly warn you that you have to set the program directory (which it makes you select) to the same drive as the game directory (which it also makes you select) for the mods to work. Nor does it prevent you from doing that (yes, it's that badly made). It's a really poor program and it's embarrassing that it's been around for so long and not gotten fixed.
Terrible unrelated mod manager issues aside, this is a good mod. 5/5.
This is awesome. So useful. Much appreciated it, thank you!
I find this mod to work successfully because I ignore any advice from this page and posts and just use it. I can imagine some people have issues with mods that alter pop-ups or anything at game start. I never use any mods that do such and if I end up using one I will never use it again. I can imagine that peeps have issues with vault doors not opening but I've never had any issues or problems with that; just other mods that do that. It's an engine issue that mods exacerbate, but I only use this mod now during the addition of 300-1k+ mods into a load order for testing. Never found one that causes issue with it yet. Never found a more useful intro skipper either. Every other one either goes way too far, isn't made for mod-testing at all, or just look likes like someone was high while making it.
So another special thank you for keeping this up despite the ungrateful flamers who wouldn't be able to properly diagnose lice on their itchy head.
-- Recommended usage: -- 1. Disable all possible mods except "Skip New Game Intro". -- 2. Start new game and skip intro. -- 3. Enable back all mods. -- 4. (Optional) Disable "Skip New Game Intro" mod.
This actually takes much, much longer than just watching the into. Eh?
Yes, if you have anywhere between 300 and 1500 mods installed, all you can do is laugh and laugh and laugh when someone says that. lol. This mod however is amazing when I'm just testing out load orders.

just type
hidemenu specialmenu
and
player.showspecialmenu after you ''skip'' and you're ready to play.
Endorsed, and kudos to you....
