Update 3.01.15 contains changes and additions to the railroad menu. All of the ground tracks have been re-mapped so that there is no "line" visible in the gravel and it is smoothed out. There are some new pieces added - Primarily a signal bridge, signal lights both for the bridge and stand alone, A new set of tracks that snap side by side to center with the sections of the bridge. Place the tracks first, then snap the bottom support for the bridge to the side of a track, then proceed from there. There is a hopper car added that is still a bit of a WIP with the texturing. Look for more pieces to be added in the future, like stairs for the bridge, that I'll upload as time permits. Thanks!
This set is ATRCIOUS to build with... it is NOT intuitive, and the pieces are NOT interchangeable with the original warehouse pieces.
Stairs do not snap, walls and upper flooring conflict, the pieces do not mix and match with the originals from the menu.
Trying to work out WHY, why if you us THIS piece of flooring THAT piece of wall will not snap, or why this piece causes gaps in your roof at the point it meets the walls, but not another roofing type, but another walling piece works with the initial roofing type... but will not work with your walling pieces.
This may not be true for all the options... but cinder blocks?
EFFING NIGHTMARE.
Everything SHOULD snap and work, with everything else, and you should be able to mix and match everything classed as warehouse, with everything from the Vanilla warehouse building set.
I really gave this mod a chance, but this is the third time I have had to undo HOURS of work, because I could not finish a project, something just would NOT snap, or had to leave holes in my second story floor, or the last roofing tile just would not fit no matter what. Every time I thought I found a work around, it just got me deeper in to the build, only to find I have moved, not fixed the problem.
This looks great, but I warn everyone looking at this.. there is obviously some STEEP learning curve, or a TON of notes somewhere I missed..... because this is NOT a user friendly system AT ALL.
3/10... every single one of those points for the amazing effort which should be lauded, not for content, which failed me thrice now.
Most of the snapping issues can be worked around by using Place Everywhere. What you do is find a piece that DOES snap where you want, then use Place Everywhere to copy that piece's position data. Delete the piece, construct the one you actually want, and then apply the other piece's data using Place Everywhere. I do this with the roof sections, because sometimes they won't snap to walls. Just snap a floor piece in there, copy data, delete floor, construct roof, apply data - perfect fit! If not, a little nudging in Place Everywhere handles that.
It is beyond ridiculous to suggest that one requires a 'cheat' mod, and a convoluted process using it, to fix the bugs of another mod just so you can use it.
I agree. I can't even get the pieces to show. "At the end of the menu." Nothing but the ordinary. Then again, maybe I'm messing something up in the loading order again? Fucks sake. I wish this was easier. Instead I just end up confusing myself.
I been using this mod since it released, and I've never had any problems with it. Everything works well with the vanilla warehouse pieces (and vanilla barn pieces too!). One of my fav build mods, specially all the concrete pieces, frickin' awesome! ♥
Woo, almost seven years of service this mod, woop woop! \o/ This mod, and your Vanilla Barn Additions, are two of my fav build mods, and I totally remember when these came out, and as primarily a builder player, I used the heck out of both quite extensively---LOOOVE these two mods, and love how they stick with the original esthetics and theme of their vanilla counterparts---so many hella awesome pieces in this mod! ♥
Still working as advertised, with the new Next-Gen Update, woohoo! \o/ Works perfect! (Steam, Manual Installs)
Once again, THANK YOU ryanfss, for this essential must-have-mod! And THANK YOU for all the time and work you put into all your great mods, and their service over the years! Still appreciating ya! \o/ ♥
Hi any possibility anyone can do a YouTube tutorial for this for Xbox User with the load order because I’ve tried everything and still can’t see it at the end of the structures menu can’t see it anywhere in fact
I really want to try this mod, but I cannot get an interface to appear.
Mine is a recent complete install of F4 and all DLCs (Steam). I have F4SE (fresh copy, 6/23), SMM (fresh download, 24204-0-1-7-1593282850). I've loaded/fixed/run every option in the SMM holotape. I have around 40 mods, nothing too extensive. My save was clean by virtue of never having had this mod, though I'm open to alternative definitions.
My primary frustration revolves around the fact that there are no written instructions nor images on this page that tip me off for exactly where I should be looking in the build menu and what I should be looking for. The result of this is that with each testing alteration, I lengthily scroll through the build system's main menu, the structures menu, the Creation Club menu and subsets of the Warehouse menu (which is really more Bethesda fail for the inefficiency of the foldering system). These menu's are what I have logically concluded are the most likely locations.
Even if you, as the replier, cannot help me to fix this issue, can you identify the name of the main Icon and where it is in the build menu so that I can quickly verify that any given test attempt is unsuccessful? Much appreciated!
For starters, the WH Ext icon appears in the Structures menu, right at the end.
It was conflicting with G2M Workshop, but only when G2M is moved to the Structures menu. G2M is by default in the main menu, but it has a holotape where you can move it from Main to Structures.
To fix the problem, I had to move G2M (via holotape) back to the main menu, save the game and exit, disable WH Ext, come back in and save and exit, reenable WH Ext and come back in. I also disabled/reenabled Settlement Menu Mgr, but I dont think that was necessary.
This saved me a whole lot of head aches so ty for posting your solution. Worked for me without disabling Settlement Menu Manager btw so no not really needed. I planned a full restart to solve it otherwise as I'm no fan of removing mods mid play especially putting them back in after but will keep fingers crossed.
I like this mod, but the "IND catwalk (5501)" stairs don't work. In that I cannot walk up the stairs. My character stops on the very first step. I have to hit the spacebar and jump up the stairs in little spurts to go up. Oddly enough my character can walk down the catwalk stairs fine, he just can't walk up them. ;) I've had to use the "CW T" and attach the "stairs railings" to the cat walk T. Also, if the "Ind catwalk" stairs are too short to reach the ground, the CW stairs extensions will not snap. The stairs for the "stairs railings" snap onto each other just fine.
Mod not appearing at the build menu. SMM installed...can anyone help me with this..please it's an awesome mod and i really want to use it.. Other building mods i use : 1. homemaker 2. sim settlement 2 3. Nuka World Shopper's Paradise (also not appearing) 4. Warehouse Extension Set - Clean (with greenhouses and sprinklers) [also not appearing] 5. Vanilla Barn Additions [also not appearing] 6. place everywhere 7. scrap everything
I'm solved this problem finally today: Firstly by a complete update of the fallout to the latest patch 163, updated f4se and all mods using it; Secondly removed the warehouse extendet and settlement menu manager from the download list. After that additionally installed workshop framework for stability; Next step is launching game, saving or quick save, quit and add this mods that removed in second step (settlement menu and after warehouse) Should be done P.s. Sorry if my English somewhere broken, cause im forget something. I haven't spoken on it for a long time
having a very weird issue where the icon for the mod appears in the workshop but the only options to build anything are for the conduits, no extra walls or anything. its just conduits and utilities.
