THIS MOD IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED
Please use my Player Comments and Head Tracking mod as it is less script intensive then this mod and has an extensive range of MCM configuration options.

Face tracking is cool but it should shut off when aiming your gun

Aiming your weapon is when you hold down the aim key.
When you do this your character goes into first person mode then and you cannot even see your character let alone what their face or head is doing.
If you are alluding to the short time you weapon stays up after releasing the key then really your not aiming then are you and that would be petty complaining about that?

If you are referring to shooting at you crosshair then no this mod does not have a setting for that.
Use my Player Comments and Head Tracking if you require a setting there as this mod is not supported any longer.

Player Comments and Head Tracking is just damn anoying, my character got all blablabla. You should implement a "shut up" option just to keep the head tracking. I tried all the MCM settings to shut up my character, but still talking, always answer to comments from NPCs and saying some ramdoms lines wen spot an enemy. I realize that I really enjoy the silence, but thanks for this standalone head tracking, now I can rest my ears.

Seriously. You obviously didn't turn off all commentary!
Maybe try not to be so negative toward the mod hey?

I've been having a problem with cell change saves not loading so did some thorough testing to figure out what was causing the problem. I've found out that this mod doesn't play nice with HUDFramework and Settlement Menu Manager mods. The three together prevent cell change saves from being loaded - the game crashes immediately upon load. Either of those mods alone with this one and the game works fine, but the moment all three are in the load order things go wrong. I'm going to try your other mod and hopefully that works but I just wanted to let you know because they're linchpin mods for a lot of settlement asset mods.

Sorry to bug you, but i was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing an issue where the player head tracking just kind of stops working all together? I think it's just me at the moment but I noticed that my character stopped tracking npc's at some point and changing the distance or turning player head tracking off then on doesn't seem to make a difference.

I have this problem too. I hope someone addresses this.

EDIT: I fixed by disabling, loading the game and saving, then re enabling and going back in game. This worked for me....at least for now.

I will take a look into this and even if I cannot replicate the issue I will see what I can do. Using console commands might be the cause!

Like this mod, but unfortunately i finally found the "dialogue" bug.
When i uninstall the mod and load my save it say that my save file is corrupted.
Any help to uninstall this safely?

I want to try your new player headtrack mod.

It should be perfectly safe to uninstall the mod - there is nothing in the mod that would corrupt you save file!
I have had no problem swapping between both this mod and the Player Comments mod for testing purposes using the same save file.

This was working for me, and for some unknown reason it stopped. It's still in the mcm, and it didn't happen until after several hours of play time. Is there some spot it needs to be in the load order specifically more or less?

EDIT: I fixed by disabling, loading the game and saving, then re enabling and going back in game. This worked for me....at least for now.

Love this mod - just discovered the interesting effects it has in combination with CWSS, but also discovered the patch! Am a very happy bunny, I love both mods and didn't want to have to choose... Thank you, and endorsed :)

Great mod! I know you are aware of the issues when trying to initiate a conversation with an NPC and dialog box won't pop up. Please let me know when this is fixed because I really like this mod and can't play without it! I don't want to go back to my bland, dead looking, ignoring people stare! LOL

Have you tried my Player Comments mod, it has head tracking and is not as script intensive as this mod. The look as speaker function is called on the topic info and not via a timer script attached to the NPC like this mod.
Actually I suggest anyone having the dialog issue to try that mod in place of this one - it doesn't appear to be a problem!

I love this mod but it breaks my dialogues for me, I have to initiate a conversation, to get the NPC to reply, but then it just doesn't start, so I have to start it over again, basically double tapping / spamming E in order to get to talk to NPCs. I had an issue with a specific quest (Skinny Malone encounter) where the NPCs had their dialogue, it got cancelled and I couldn't initiate a dialogue no matter what I tried.

I was using Player Head Tracking (PHT) together with Horizon. I tried changing up the load order to see if that would fix anything and it didn't unfortunately. Deactivating other mods that might interfere did nothing. The only fix was to deactivate PHT altogether :( I loved what PHT did and I miss it terribly now. Still endorsed and will continue to check back in case it gets fixed. :)

Edit: I just noticed there's a thread in the forum about this, my bad for not checking there first! Sorry.

I had the same issue, conversations in first person were cut off 100% of the times for some reason and with some luck conversations in 3rd person were possible. I was only using Player Head Tracking, uninstalled it and no more issues.
