This is a mod I made for fun, primarily because it had been a long time since I made my Skyrim mod, and I wanted a super unique house to use when I explore Fallout 4. This mod took me a little over a month to build to this release state. It's pretty heavily inspired by my own design tastes and daily habits - I like living in sort of enclosed, cozy spaces, and I love the rain and dark. I like that sort of modern, clean look, but like a lived in touch. I also love making art and working on cars, so that led to some decor ideas. Figured this would fit the bill well. Take a little high tech and cave, smash em together, then throw my design taste in and BAM! Mod.

Fallout 4 also has a lot of new elements to experiment with, so I tried to give sort of quest like elements to this house to make it feel a lot more interactive, like you're making it your own, such as with the Power Armor stand being used to hoist an engine, which I'm very proud of. Just neat stuff for a first time use which was new for me to build.

This mod sacrifices no functionality or aesthetics. I think it's the perfect mix of playability, having everything you'd want in a house, and aesthetics with gadgets.

DESCRIPTION

Bunker Ravine is a new player home, located in a new worldspace location near Bunker Hill called "Saucewerks performance". The Bunker can be accessed through a small interaction quest to get the elevator functioning, and bunker functions restored. Bunker is intended to also work for a survival play-through.

OVERALL:
  • 100% Navmeshed
  • Companion friendly with idle nodes/markers
  • Consistent Aesthetics, worked very hard on it
  • Static, and plentiful decor
  • Acquisition quest (not just instantly yours - gotta do some thinking)
  • Lore Friendly; for the most part ;)
  • Linked workstation and surface workbench containers (multi-cell)
  • Follower sandbox markers
  • Surface Workshop (non-settlement)
  • Survival Friendly
  • Lots of sound/light work
  • Cleaned and Double-Checked with FO4EDIT

The INTERIOR of the bunker is decorated to give the feeling of being underwater, in a calming environment. The idea is that the bunker, while being cracked apart and the ground around it being crumbled by earthquakes has given away to the water above the bunker, flooding and draining over the bunker.

Master bedroom
  • > Several places to store clothes and equipment
  • > Linked Book storage
  • > Terminal with logs / tape player function
  • > Lockable Safe
  • > Sleeping bed

  • > Scrappable items (or optional decor)
  • > 100 power source for your creations!

- Ravine Room w/ Target Range + Build Zone
  • > Shooting target dummies that reset
  • > Weapon and chemistry workbenches
  • > Ravine trench with build area intended for optional teleporter expansion
Other Stuff!
  • > All rooms feature ON/OFF Light switches
  • > Regular doors auto-close after 8 seconds (except for bathroom and chem room as of 2019)
  • > Toggleable Blast Doors for toggling view of waterfalls in each section of the bunker
  • > Sandbox idle markers for companions

The EXTERIOR is labelled Saucewerks Performance. This is a advanced car tuning garage from prewar, later used as a front to mask the elevator entrance to the bunker inside. No one has been able to get the elevator functioning for some time, but you might. This area serves function to the player in a few key ways, such as an optional building area for contraptions and the ability to dump items into the bunker storage without entering the bunker.

Surface Area / Garage (Building Area)
  • > Workbench (links with interior workstations)
  • > Storage into bunker without entering
  • > Optional Buildable area (doesn't function as a settlement location; use Bunker Hill)
  • > Non-respawning containers in garage
  • > Operating garage door

LOCATION

Bunker Ravine is located very close to Bunker Hill, which is totally a coincidence. I really hadn't intended for it to be so close. It's in the safe little neighborhood just outside the main entrance to Bunker Hill. Saucewerks Performance will be marked on your map when you find the new, customized garage and restore power to the garage and elevator. Check the screenshots for an exact location.

RECOMMENDED MODS
