Hello, I would love to use this mod, especially because it brings back excitement of looting and not knowing what is in containers, but I worry that it maybe will conflict with one of mod that I am using.
I am using mod Hunter of the Commonwealth, that show E prompt to examine when looking at dead animals, so will it conflict with this mod? and is it safe to uninstall it mid-game?
Chosing CONDITION in the FOMOD means that the quickloot box appears when looking at a dead body when your weapon is holstered. This is the only way to make it possible to drag bodies. Note that quickloot is hidden for all other containers and if you have a weapon drawn, you will not get a quickloot box when looking at dead bodies. If you choose NO CONDITION, then you wont be able to drag bodies, as there will be no quickloot even if your weapon is holstered. It appears that dragging bodies is somehow tied to the quickloot function.
PLEASE IM BEGGING for a compatibility patch for interactive animations mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/54974 When using both the quickloot shows again. I just want the searching animations when interacting with a container/corpse with no quick loot window
Been using this mod a long time, and never really had issues, but today I noticed an issue though where if you're able to loot a corpse or box while dialogue is ongoing (for example, you're speaking to a companion but walk away to loot while still in range for the dialogue to continue) then you still get the quick loot menu. That's the ONLY time it happens for me and I ran across it by complete accident. Started a new game and was searching sanctuary with Codsworth, cleared a house and he initiated speech with me, but I was gathering radroach meat, and noticed I still had the quick loot menu and experimented around for a few minutes trying to replicate it and confirmed it only happens when you're supposed to be in dialogue. Not really an outstanding issue and doesn't get in the way of regular gameplay or anything, but figured i'd report it anyways. Thanks again for this mod.
EDIT I also noticed that you still get the quick loot menu when interacting with Power Armor. Also, it'd be worth noting im using the version that doesn't care if you're holding your weapon or not.
A few years later, but may come in handy for someone. I have used this mod for years and I adore it and recommend it. It's the first mod I install when I playthrough FO4, This is just a heads up for people using it for the first time!
I recently rushed through Codsworths dialogue and the game hung one one of his responses for around 10 seconds, after that all containers were still okay to search with this mod but any bodies of animals/humans had reverted to quick loot. Never seen it before because I had never mashed buttons to get through his dialogue before. Took me a LONG time of messing around with my load order, disabling various mods that I thought might conflict etc. Eventually I methodically went through a new start, checking if this mod was still working at each creature killed in vault 111 and then Sanctuary, and after reading this comment I just let the dialogue flow naturally without button mashing, and it seems that something to do with Codsworths dialogue can disable this mod on a save and you can only rectify it with a save before it happened or a new game.
Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing mod and I adore it to bits, this is just a warning to not smash through Codsworths dialogue or you will get quick loot on creatures but not containers for the rest of your game. I tried it on both versions.
Essential mode for NO HUD play. It's a simple option, but no one has made it. Vanilla itself should have provided a toggle option. Genius! Thank you for making it
I don't think it's possible until 76 supports plug-in mods. (It's been 5 years and there's still no promised mod support?) And whether it can help with performance is doubtful unless you actually get fps drops when you mouse over a container.

If you're referring to the actual game: "Fallout: New Vegas", this (and any Fallout 4) mod will not work as this is made with Fallout 4's creation kit and intended for Fallout 4 and very different to New Vegas and its GECK. If so, I suggest you search for mods here if you haven't already.
Besides, Fallout: New Vegas does not have Quick Loot so an equivalent mod is not possible. Unless you're referring to another Fallout 4 mod like Project Mojave, in which case if they don't already include a disabled quick loot that uses the same, this mod should be compatible.
I would do ANYTHING. ANYTHING for this mod in Starfield. I've used it for years and love it and simply cannot get used to not pressing B to exit the quickloot menu (which instantly crouches) in Starfield, and it's driving me F*****G insane :/
