SKK Scrapper scraps your junk inventory items into components using a [ .SKK Scrapper ] holotape which is automatically regenerated in your MISC inventory whilst the mod is active:


(1) Scrap player inventory junk (save weight when scavenging).

(2) Scrap local workshop junk (how many adhesive do you actually have ?)

(3) Scrap junk in SKK Quantum global workshop storage (speed up inventory display)

(4) Toggle auto scrapping junk in real time as it is added to player inventory.  

(5) Toggle scrapping [ ALL junk | Only SAFE quest and crafting junk ]


(6) Toggle consolidating partial fusion cores. 

(7) Toggle fill all player inventory water bottles at once. 



User Notes (RTFM)

You can choose to scrap all ~530 known base game misc junk items plus NukaWorld plus Harbor items (if DLCs are installed) to the 30 basic components. This excludes all unique quest items like the Abernathy locket, but includes common quest items like antifreeze and power relays. If you are sent on a treasure hunt quest for general junk DISABLE AUTO SCRAPPING.

The safe item list keeps 80 crafting and common quest junk items whole, like Abraxo for Mentats, power relays, biometric scanners and empty bottles for Survival water filling.  Does not scrap shipments to avoid encumbering the player.

With empty bottles on the safe list for Survival, an option enables filling all empty bottles in the player inventory at once from a clean or dirty water source. Saves spamming the buttons to speed fills when you don't build purifiers.

Fusion cores will consolidate to a whole number, any partial charge is held in reserve and added to the next consolidation. Yes you can top up a single core from that charge. If Scrapper is unable to make a full core from your partials it will not scrap any existing ones to ensure you are not left stranded with none.

If the holotape is misplaced, another can be crafted at a Chemistry workbench.

Why Bother ?: If your play-style is resource limited (say hardcore survival no settlements or connected provisioners) and junk management is a PITA, this is for you. If not, Larry would probably say "If you don't get it, you don't need it". 

 
Known Issues:

(1) If the safe item list is scrapping stuff you want to keep  (like pre-war money or smokes), read this article SKK Scrapper editing list items to edit the scrapping lists yourself. Please please do not ask for an item to be excluded, I have had requests for each of nearly all of the 600 scrappable items.

(2) Disable auto scrapping when you are doing quest Painting the Town or you will not be able to make green paint.

(3) Do not enable the fill all bottles function if you use a mod that enables water bottle filling outside of survival mode (like Anyone Can Fill), they will conflict.


Compatibility: The mod has no dependencies on extenders or DLCs and does not change any base game assets or objects, its 100% pure new Creation Kit forms and scripts.  The mod can be disabled at any time if you disable auto scrapping and bottle filling first. Only remove mods if you are happy to accept potential conflicts from load order changes in a save game.

Nexus PC Manual Installation: Copy SKKScrapper.esp and SKKScrapper – Main.BA2 to your ...\Fallout 4\Data directory, enable in the Bethesda mod menu, mod manger or whatever. 


FAQ

> Why is there no ESL version ? Because life already contains sufficient hassle.
