Thanks for great mod This is corrected mesh for this great mod just replace it with the mesh from base mod v 1.5 and you good to go you can installed it with NMM DOWNLOAD LINK
huh, really cool, i wonder if you could create one that could surround the player, i know it's not really realistic, but i think it could work, basically the model would protect the player from all directions, unless someone happens to throw a grenade within the circled object, at that point all you would have to do is deactivate it and run like hell lol.
with the way i made it function it just naturally does it lol, i liked it so l kept it on. it basically has a command to spawn item then remove item from inventory, more complex stuff with the way/where its facing
Great idea, went to try it yesterday but every time I build the grenades in Chem Station and try to exit, my game freezes up completely and I have to shut it down and start up again. Also, during building the grenades, when I highlight any of them, a massive mesh would appear on the screen which doesn't look right to me. Needless to say I have now turned the mod off as I can not use it like this. I doubt a fix will be done as it seems the author has more or less abandoned the mod, but I thought I mention it in case others are having this issue as well.
It's a solid idea and I like it, but there are a few things I believe would make this even better. I personally would change the animation to the landmine rather than grenade. If that's done, maybe you could make a barrier that has an animated deployment. For example; You're in combat, and you throw your barrier down, and it automatically "builds itself." (This of course would only make sense with the "Enforcer Barrier.") And rather than making it at the chem station, maybe make it available for purchase exclusively from the BoS on the Prydwin. That being said, (and I'm just giving my 2 cents) Make it so the rest of the barriers are only built in workshop mode. (To me that makes sense.) I would love to hear back from you on my idea. Thank you for reading, and thanks for your hard work!
i would love to mod again and renew my old mods, though i lost my skills on modding, forgot how to do stuff. im slower at blender than i was before and the tools i was so comfortable with just confused me when i got back to try again. i think i may have lost a chunk of my brain haha, if i find motivation to mod, ill try to learn again.
what if it doesn't show up in the chemstation? edit: It might be the mod manager, i'm using Vortex, but the mod turned out to not be completely enabled (enabled under mods, disabled under plugins) using it spawned 85 on first test, 44 on second, 40 on third, and enough to push me through the ground on fourth. even if i drop them form my inventory, it goes crazy. i'll leave it up to you to decide if that's a bug or the mod manager.
Are you ever going to update this with destructability or do you think you'd let someone else use your resources to take over and make destructible shields?
