I can't get this mod to work. Are there any other mods that are known to conflict with this? I'm going to try to reinstall, but thought I'd check about conflicts even though nothing was mentioned.
I am not aware of incompatibilities with other mods. ... perhaps you have mod which rewrites vanilla menu in defense or guard post section? you can give me list of that kind of mods, so I can test them, or you can check compatibility with them youself.
This one I'm not sure if they have any defense rating or if they can have guards assigned, but just in case. Sandbag fortifications: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21358/?
Ok I'll have to check for other mods, maybe change the load order. I had one other mod stop working and it was because something else loading first was interfering.
Move this mod to the bottom of yer load orfer and see if that helps and if so then it would be simple enough to keep moving it up untill it stops working again. That way you can locate any mod/mods that won't work with this ubove them in the list. I hope it's that simple.
If you mean npc like Danse or Strong, then no, they won't use these markers (just like they won't use them in unmodded game). The only mod I found that actually makes Paladin Danse stand guard, is "Guard Post Markers" by Retsam.
The only thing which would make this mod perfect, is if the metal and wooden spike barricades (which also giving +1 guard) would injure everyone which touching them.
Because this way you (and the enemy) just can climb and jump over it without any restrictions.
A mostly great looking collection but it seems unnecessarily doubled - after all, instead of having many of them as both a guard version and a wall version, why not just put security mats or chairs behind those barricades you want to be a guard post? I get some might want the stop signs though they could've just been added as two extra barricades like the rest and it'd still be more compact than all the doubling up...
But anyways, I'm downloading this simply for the nice guard chairs idea - which none of the others I found on Nexus (except Zorka's sheriff desk mod) seemed to have. I mastered the basics of FO4edit to edit all out except the chairs, mats, sandbags & jersey barricades. After all, there's plenty of vanilla stuff you can turn into a guard spots simply by using the chairs and mats. So, if you're ever thinking of a lightweight version, that's what I'd suggest - along with maybe the stop signs as small freestanding props. Anyway, many thanks for sharing. Endorsed.
Quick question: The previous version (1.5) had an esp named "barricades.esp" but the new version has one named "BLD_barricades.esp". Is that intentional?
