Seem to of found a bug, When entering the institute it flashes between extreme darkness and visibility and only gets fixed when I disable this which is unfortunate as I really like how this makes the game look.
Please take this as positive criticism and I hope it will improve your mod. I appreciate the work you have done.
I mostly look inside every mod I download and try to understand the changes made and look for possible trouble...
One concern of using your mod, as it is, you have a lot of Identical to Master Records (should have cleaned it in FO4Edit) and a lot of deleted ones - this may create bugs in the future with other mods and even inside your mod. Like, you delete most God rays and after you introduce it in your Weather modifications - that doesn´t make sense.
Thanks a lot for this mod but I have a question: can you do a mod to remove the fog like you did with this one but without the graphic change ? Because I was surprised when I saw my fps going higher in certain zones. Thank a lot.
When I use your mod, I love how it is more fluid in certains places likes city. But I find your contrast too harsh and with it my fallout is even more darker, I use ENB with small reshades and it affect it a lot.
I tried other mods that removes fog but it didn't worked or made my game crash, yours don't.
My mod was designed for console to give them a more vibrant game because console players cannot use ENB. Essentially I was trying to make a vibrant ENB style mod for console. So using my mod with ENB is like 2 ENB's conflicting. Try using my mod with your ENB disabled and see what you think. My mod was meant to be it's own standalone experience and not meant to be used with other lighting and shader mods. I guess if you say pretty please A LOT I can make one for you that is just a fog/godray remover.
Thanks, with the Faraway Aarea Reform mod, your mod and some of the bigest retexture mods I'm getting shoking results, something I've tried to tweak using ENB only and could not achieve before, specially the visible yet dark night goal. It seems the vanilla lights has to be modded before tweaking ENB no matter what. Could you disable/mod the vanilla Dialog Bloom effects too? is messing with your mod tweaks Endorsed.
Yes, I used the console command: SetImageSpaceModifiersEnable (sisme) to switch all effects On/Off in dialogue, I get a "clear view" when sisme is Off, just like your mod out of dialogue, but when sisme is On (by default) the dialogue tricks my eyes, forcing me to blink in hope to gain more focus looking at my screen, or make me believe the clima just changed to a "bloomy haze" one just for a dialogue? that's clima change!. pd. I like the multipass Bloom effect from ENB instead, but for some reason, ENB can not turn Off bloom from ImageSpaceModidiers like it does from ImageSpace.
Indeed, the next console command: setini "bDepthOfField:ImageSpace" 0 will disable in-game during dialogue a lot of the effects I was talking, it was DoF just like you said.
I will add this to the Fallout4Custom.ini [ImageSpace] bDepthOfField=0
edit: what happens to the underwater effect when you disable DoF in the options? It disappears! this engine bug has been around since Skyrim. I will instead install this mod: Depth of Field (DoF) Removal
Well, I like the clarity, but I get a blowing fog storm effect whenever I have traveled. If I have a blue sky and fast travel, bang, I get this blowing storm. It even blows through cement walls in interiors..(Well not actual interiors, interiors of buildings) followed by a plasma storm, the first time it happened at night and it was so dense I couldn't see more than perhaps 10 feet. http://i.imgur.com/LxWkREg.jpg http://i.imgur.com/cGcEAAt.jpg
If that was what you were going for, fine by me. It just wasn't what I expected from your description.
The realistic darkness otherwise looks fine. I had an odd depth of field effect as well, but it went away.
