Hey yall! I made a small mod that increases the volume of the low health heart-beat sound (which this mod is affected by). You can adjust the volume to your liking using fo4edit.
Are these audio samples in the game by default ? Honestly it'd be cool someone add them to specific events, like for instance if you kill Shaun in Nuclear option
download "Audacity", open the mod's path and edit the two .wav's I stretched A's pauses, increased the volume by 10db and left B as it is with a 3db increase - sounds much more noticeable and less repetitive now :)
I know this comment is from 2 years ago but I wanted to say thank you so much since I did this myself [I am very new to modding and do not prefer to mess with mod files just in case I mess up] and I did this and it works fantastic, very easy and now I know to upscale audio if I need too :-) thank you so much!
This is a great mod and works as intended on the next-gen update. I also recommend better low health (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6018) as they compliment each other. I think this mod is better implemented that the sound of the heartbeat, but could use a small sound boost, unless that is the sound level of the heart beat. I will increase that in-game and see if I can hear it better. Regardless, endorse and recommend this mod.
So, my sound was maxed out for heartbeat, but I am not sure if this is tied to that volume control. Regardless, this is a much better implementation than what Bethesda had done. Thank you for the mod.
Murder_Death_Scream might be what you are looking for, unfortunately, the mod author has deleted it from the Nexus. I still have a copy I use in my load order, if you would like I can share it with you or anyone else who needs it posted here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1qFEqZuAuVW1uhN3PVkAaYR2qwObU6HUx?usp=sharing
I just downloaded audicity, loaded .wav's in and then added compressor from the effects, and adjusted it so i got more gain, but i feel they're still too low. I like the samples, because they kind of notify me of bleeding what i wouldn't notice otherwise, though it's usually too late at that point but still like it more than the heartbeat.
@hoskope check out "Better Low Health" for the "50% no screen effect" version and xedit the 0.X float to your liking - using 0.5 and 0.3 personally and it helps to not lose track of MAIM bleeds lol

Increased Heart Beat Volume

Hope this helps, enjoy!
