I have only play tested this for a few hours but is is working as intended so far. I check the nexus regularly, so on the off chance you find something not working let me know and I will fix it ASAP. Also if you have any recommendations for further changes let me know.
hey moonracer, i have Loot Logic And Reduction Ammo Shortage + Vendor Diversity Overhaul 1.1 installed, but my vendors are still full with ammo and stuff. what im doing wrong? ps. ive tried sleeping for 200 hours and rechecking their inventory. im talking about both world traders like Trudy, and settlement weaponshop traders. none work. my loadorder:
I don't see Vendor Diversity Overhaul in your loadorder, but I just took a peek at the files and it should be loaded before that version of Loot Logic and Reduction as they both edit ammo count leveled lists. It's kind of an edge case as the main Loot Logic and Reduction file doesn't conflict with this mod.

I honestly can't say 100%. The main risk of removing or changing leveled list mods mid game is if you use any mods that inject items to leveled lists with scripts. I'm not sure if leveled lists reset the same way cells reset.
Not sure who else uses this in 2021, but a couple of issues: - I've not seen any vendor carry a fusion core for sale in my current playthrough. I'm up to level 121. (not really using power armor this run through.) - The BOS merchant that you can normally buy vertibird grenades from doesn't sell them any more.
I'm not 100% sure these are because of this mod, but I'm pretty sure I don't have any other mods that change shop inventories.
I just checked the mod in the creation kit and most vendors still sell fusion cores. I'm not sure what would cause them to not show up. There's a global variable that unlocks vertibird grenades in that vendor's inventory. My guess is if the linked quest glitches the variable doesn't get changed and the grenades won't show up.
Ah ok, great thanks for checking! I'm planning on starting a new character soon anyway so will see if fusion cores and grenades spawn correctly. Could be an issue with my current save, which has been used to playtest quite a few mods. :)
Two small questions, as they are the only two mods I have that add items to particular vendors (Becky Fallon and Lucas Miller). One mod is called Wasteland Bandolier which adds a sick piece of armor to Becky Fallon's inventory, and a cheaper variant to Lucas Miller's. The other mod is called KCI - Kellogg's Cybernetic Implants. This adds two implants on Kellogg after you kill him, and when combined with the third one, you'll power them up with fusion cores to get access to some extra little balanced buffs, like +50 carry weight, increased movement speed, allowing you to highlight living targets, or auto-stim when you get low on health.
Just curious if anyone's tried these to see if they work. I'm gona try testing them tomorrow and I'll reply to my own comment if nobody sees this by then, just to answer this question for anyone else.
You probably thought about this but how about adding weapon mods to their inventory? Everyone picks crafting perks, it would be cool to find that Crafting Lvl4 required x item in the store if you haven't leveled up enough. And thank you for the useful mods.
Yeah, I added a few mods to the faction vendors, but didn't get much further. It's a lot of work getting them in leveled lists to drop in interesting ways. It's also something I'd want to balance in such a way that crafting skill don't become useless.
So I have a question, I use The Mercenary Pack which adds new armor to the game. Will this mess with this mod or will they just not be available to buy? And would the same be true for your NPC loot drop rebalance mod or would they still be able to equip and drop the armor added from The Mercenary Pack?
I haven't used that mod so I'm just going on the description: There is a fair chance that you wouldn't be able to buy the armors from stores (but you might). However it looks like all of the armors are added to NPCs like Gunners. This mod would not interfere with that. Neither should my loot drop balance as that doesn't modify what NPCs wear, just what they drop on death.
Moonracer, I was wondering if I could make a suggestion. Seeing how it's already difficult enough to make syringer ammo, could it be possible to add them to the Docs and Vets of the wasteland?
Not a bad idea at all. Yes, I can do that. I've been taking a break from fallout so it might take me a while to get everything back up and running to make the change.
