NOTE: If you are having any issues getting this mod to work correctly, after enabling and deploying the mod simply close and reopen Vortex. I don't know why this fixes the issue, but it seems to work consistently. If the mod is still not working, it is likely a mod conflict as I have installed the mod on a clean Fallout 4 here:

Can confirm, it seems to me that it is an issue of when and how often to refresh. For example when you set a plugin to be "light" in vortex you have to do some other event for it to actually change the plugin i.e. Purge, Disable/Enable a mod etc.
After installing or manipulating mods like this or doing significant overhauls to my mods I close then reopen Vortex and sometimes Purge/Deploy then manually sort plugins.
I'm having a problem where as soon as I switch to survival, only the weight of the ammo is coming back. I have like 100 other mods, but since this mod worked before I enabled survival, I don't know what to do. I'm not at all tech or code savvy, so I have no clue what to look for. Anyone else having this problem? I'd be grateful for some solution or an explanation.
Do you have any survival-specific mods? I would try putting this mod at the very bottom of your load order and see if that allows it to override any other changes that mods may be making.
If two mods both edit the same item you will need to pick one or live with a bit of a conflict. This mod does not remove scrap tags, it is just that both mods edit the same item - so whichever loads second will override the first.
(edit: Ignore my dumb comment, I still had ammo weight disabled in the unlimited survival mod)
Tried disabling the mod and my ammo is still all weightless in survival. Tried making a new character and still the ammo is weightless. The aid and weapon mods all got their weight back, just not the ammo.
If you have 'Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR)' installed like me, then you'll likely need to reinstall that Mod and select 'No Patches' underneath the 'Functional Display' sections.
After doing this one change and redeploying, this Mod should start working for you.
dang I was excited for this, the only sorter I have is better item sorting updated for survival but this isn't working, i even used the weightless aid with better item sorting patch.... nothing, wrenches and junk still have weight.
whelp I figured it out, better item sorting is causing the problem, any item that has (tool) in front of it, has weight. so all the wrenches and hammers will have the weight, even though they are junk. Ill have to look for a different sorting mod...
double whelp, sorting mods change the item tags which makes this weightless mod not recognize some junk... some even mess with my ultrawide hud setting. crap, i guess ill have to play without sorting mods. I have to have this mod. its too useful in survival when you have to lug everything around.
Could be a load order issue that im currently troubleshooting, but does this mod need a patch in order to work with "Fall UI - Inventory"? with this mod enabled it seems to 'unsort' all my items

Mod works like a charm otherwise! Cheers!
