Edited to say that NPCs are wearing the underwear it's just my character that isn't. Sorry for the hassle but I cannot get this to appear in my game no matter what I do. I've spent a fullday trying to get it to work.
Uninstalled and reinstalled, CBBE, Bodyslide, Unique NPCs and True to Vanilla. Tried an install with Nevernude selected on CBBE and on Unique NPCS. Tried an install with None selected on CBBE and Core on Unique NPCS. Set CBBE to loadfirst and last. Set Unique NPCs toload first and last. Set True to Vanillato load first and last.
When I load into mygame my character is always nude and her body is either back to basic or distorted.
I’d really appreciate any insight into what I have done wrong as at this point even with uninstalling and reinstalling all of my mods I cannot getthe CBBE Never Nude to appear in my game again.
Hey, I'm a tad bit confused. What exactly does this mod do? The description is a little confusing so I am not sure if this replaces CBBE, replaces nevernude underwear or what.
Hey- Great mod but I need to jump on the "confused" bandwagon as well. I am very new to using bodyslide and I can't get vanilla leather armor to fit. What EXACTLY do I put in the Outfit/Body slot and then what do I place in the Preset slot? Any clue would be greatly appreciated. And again , great work on the mod. Gotta love the "hideous undies". EDIT: After a couple sleepless nights I figured it out.
This actually addresses the irrational fear and misconception of CBBE. So many comments I read made by people avoiding CBBE because they think CBBE will force feed them some ridiculously oversized breasts and every single female NPC will walk around with said breasts hanging, raiders will die with breasts popping out. And/or they fear the "complex" learning curve to make CBBE works, akin to earning a 4 year degree. And here I am going around being advocate for CBBE explaining it is but an intelligent body system that allows a lot of customization.
I personally use a shape close to Vanilla shape with more or less unified hip/waist area so that I can have panties (as accessories) perfectly fitting on every female character without clipping. But yeah, it's like me wearing a T-shirt "I use CBBE and I have small boobs"
I am going to download just to endorse. Those Vanilla underwear is criminally hideous.
That's why I went out of the way to get a team together to make this happen, quickly.
It's been almost 2 years since Launch (well 1 and 2/3rds?) and every other close "Nevernude" is hyper-sexualized.
To be clear, I'm not a prude, but avoided CBBE myself for months because as a new gamer to the modding community I was bombarded by the ridiculous 13-year old teenagers "Ideal" woman.
It wasn't until I saw some other authors (I wasn't a modder yet) outfits that looked, well normal I dipped my toe in the pool, and never regretted it.
I know the Underwear is hideous, but the request was "True to Vanilla", I think we might do some retexture options, but we wanted to focus on getting this up first, and the retextures later.
@Madcat221, Make sense to me, I generally make my Cait look like a heroin addict until we finish the Affinity questline, but each their own!
Well that hideous underwear comment was not directed at you, lol, but at Bethesda. A quick peak into history of CBBE. It was one of the first mod that provides nudity to Skyrim. CBBE was actually accused of having a supermodel figure for tight waist, round perfect breasts (even for my own taste). But I welcomed it with open arms because it looked WAY better than Skyrim HUGE FRAMED female body that looks like Yao Ming's broad shoulder body with added breasts. UNP was one of the other body that looked a lot more natural than CBBE.
CBBE went global when Bodyslide came out. It was no longer a bodyshape but a whole system to have any bodyshape you ever fancy. Although outfit modders (like myself, I do a little) should know by heart the standard CBBE body template (the original body) and convert every outfit to match up with this template. Only doing so means outfits built with your preset will come out relatively consistent. Outfits like Ghost in the Shell, albeit very nice, is totally useless to me because it didn't follow the template. So the outfit will come out all jacked up if using your preset. It looks good on its own, but the moment you attempt to mix this outfit with other accessories .... it becomes a nightmare of clipping.
And I say we should be very grateful that, albeit still having a lot of limitation, CBBE and Bodyslide went a long way and have their worth in gold.

Except Cait's default outfit. She looks a bit too lean for a brawny brawler girl.
