Now Comes up Voice File Reference Tool 2 by greentea101 here:https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30976 VFR2 has new UI, and a feature that can be extract voice files with renaming. Check it out!
Hi there, Version 1.3.6.1 has been uploaded to the optional section. Fallout 76 was supported but it is still experimental, so please help me with the testing. -- NOTE: I don't have FO76 (there is no money to purchase), all implementations are by speculation from information on the internet. -- Implementation is based on the assumption that the structure of esm/fuz/ba2 is (almost) unchanged from FO4. -- The installation path of FO76 is not automatically detected, please specify the path in game settings dialog. -- I don't know form version of FO76 plugin yet, the plugin of FO76 will treated as "unknown games" (operation should not be affected). -- Please report whether it worked. Also, please tell me if anyone knows the plugin version / form version of SeventySix.esm (You can see it in the plugin selection dialog). Thanks.
Okay, I'm a little late. But maybe this is helpful for those of you who want to use that great tool under NextGen.
I've found a simple workaround, at least for the base game and the DLC's:
Just download the OldGen string files from Nexus and drop the files for the languages and DLCs you need in the folder \Data\Strings\. Create that folder if it doesn't exist.
If a message comes up at the start of LVF regarding an unsupported bsa/ ba2 type, you can ignore it. Have a nice day!
Hi, not sure where to ask but i dont have a voices_en ba2 in my fallout folder and have tried verifying files but still havent got one, not sure what to do because i cant see what any of the voice lines are sayinf
I'm not tech-savvy at all and I can't even open it so I have no idea if it's installed or just downloaded. Is there a visual tutorial on how to install, or can somebody who knows what they're doing help me out? I just want a voiced Butch DeLoria follower lolol
When trying to load up Fallout 76 voice files it says game mismatch and doesn't load text or voice files. Just a bunch of blanks.
Also, in case you're interested in finalizing support for it, Fallout 76 is on sale from $40 to $10 right now on steam if you want to pick it up for cheap.
Edit: Since you were requesting in sticky, according to the plugin selection information: SeventySix esm: Plugin Name: SeventySix.esm Game Type: Unknown Games Header Version/Form Version: 170 / 195 Flags: Master, Localized
NW esm: Plugin Name: NW.esm Game Type: Unknown Games Header Version/Form Version: 170 / 195 Flags: Master, Localized Masters: SeventySix.esm
You can get transcripts loading if you manually extract the strings files. All the other useful features however are still borked.
This is the output I get without manually extracted strings files. [17:23:01] Game Mode : Fallout 76 [17:23:03] Loading... Though it's strange how the strings show but the voice file names don't. Maybe extracting the voice files will show them. I'll have to download the game again to find out.
Edit: Okay, having the strings and voice files extracted as loose files instead of having them as ba2 seems to have worked for the most part. Got the filenames showing.

Lazy Voice Finder is a must for quest mods that keep the immersion with a voice player character and without resorting to AI.
I want to change some characters voices to be like they use a power armor. Is there a way to do it ?
thanks a lot.
