VFRT2 is a utility that gives the user easy access to the dialogue (text & audio) in the Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE games. It is useful to modders who want to reuse dialogue from the vanilla game for their own voiced dialogue mods, allowing them to quickly identify the desired voice files, and then extract and rename them at the same time.

VFRT2 is a utility that gives the user easy access to the dialogue (text & audio) in the Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 games, making it searchable through a simple interface. It is the successor to FO4 VFRT, which in turn was the successor to the original VFRT for Skyrim. VFRT2 was practically written from scratch (very little code was reused from FO4 VFRT), and as a result is more robust and much easier to work with, both for the user and for me as a programmer. It is also more modder-friendly than the predecessors, having the ability to extract voice files and rename them at the same time.
To use, unpack the archive into a new folder at a location of your choice, and run "VFRT2.exe". The program is portable, meaning that no installation is necessary, and that it writes its settings to a file in the folder you put it in (make sure it has write access to the folder). Be sure to read the included readme file for details!
The C++ source is available on GitHub under the GPLv3 license. (I've stopped updating the repository at version 2.1.2 - too much headache, sorry)
