So, you've decided to be a cannibal. That's...nice? I guess? But, oh, you're playing on Survival mode, so now you're just hosed, because as if the Cannibal perk weren't useless enough, now you have the Dark Craving debuff, which means that after a fixed amount of time, no matter how many corpses you eat, you will suddenly become Ravenous. Even if you just ate, like, twelve people less than a minute ago. And hoo, boy, are you in trouble, now that your END is in the toilet.
That's utterly stupid.
I have yet to figure out how to make the hunger timer reset when you eat a corpse, as it should (Survival scripts are just painful and I'm not much of a scripter). BUT! I've at least made being Ravenous less crippling, while making it MORE lore-friendly and maybe even more realistic.
Now, when you become Ravenous, instead of -8 END, -5 CHA, and -2 LUCK, you get -5 CHA, -2 LUCK, +25% damage resistance, and +25% damage (or if you pick the "Melee" file, +50% melee damage). The Dark Craving is clearly based on the Wendigo myth, so if it's going to be stupid, it should at least be consistent with itself. It's also more realistic in some ways, since real ravenous people become nearly immune to pain when they have food in front of them (it's true, look it up!), and if getting that food means killing someone, they can get just SUPER aggressive.
Now, maybe you want to milk this Wendigo-like state as long as possible. Sure, go for it! But beware, once you progress to Starving, you'll lose your buffs and really be on death's door. So eat up!
