I got a GTX 1650 but I still prefer to use the 256 one as I grew up playing on low end so it doesnt really bother me and here on F04, I try to keep my fps above 90+, only problem is that thr 256 has the brown face bug...
For people who uses the 256 version and got the Brown Face bug, download the 512 and extract the "textures\actors\characters\***" files and use it as a lose file with the 256 version. that should 100% fix it. Then proceed to to add any other face/body texture mod you got replacing those lose files as needed. Incompatibility solved.
it's located on Fallout 4 - Textures 1 up to 6 for the charcter files, it's about 900mb total.
I'm playing on an HP laptop from 2017 with a core i5 7th Gen and a dedicated graphics card, along side 16gb of ram and an SSD. This boosted my FPS from about 18 to a solid 43! It was playable before, but now it's incredible. Thank you!
I know i am SO late , but i just wanted to express my thanks . my game is smoother now , at least for the time i tried it in . Boston is still lagging , but it's less of a nightmare . turning off VSync (iPresentinterval) boosts performance even more . i am yet to try the ".Ini"s . hope they work just fine with the new textures and boosts the performance even more . Again , i thank you , and recommend this mod to any one playing fallout in 2023 and anyone playing it with an intel HD 4000 like me XD . Just tried the 256 version and .... i ... i am stunned! I dreamt of the day i will walk through Boston's streets without having to wait for five minutes evey minute :D There are still soem stutters here and there , but hey , considering i already made a miracle of launching the game on my PC with nice FPS , you will never hear me complaining :D
I'd suggest you to throw away that old intel and Nvidia garbage and buy something new/used but good hardware. If you want low budget, try new ryzen cpu's, 1700, 2600/2700 for around 100$ ... That's nothing. And a old gtx 660/660ti (Still got 2 of them at home for minor purpose) you'll get for around 40$ on ebay ... And a new kit of RAM you'll also get for less than 100$ (DDR4), cheap motherboard, compatible with ryzen and et voila - New PC, capable of playing newer stuff for just less than 400$ ...

My goodness im literally having a tears of joy because my potato pc can handle fallout 4 now. this mod is far more greater than Wasteland 512. thank you so much for making this and for being exist to this world <3
