I have a couple of big mods I'm trying to finish in 2023 and I will post screenshots and more information about those mods when they are closer to release, join my Discord server for more information and to be notified when I release new mods. Simply Better Weather v10.2 & v11.2 have been released for preview.
Most of my mods received a minor update 16/12/2022, the main reason for this update to was to allow you to install multiple versions / options of the mods at the same time so that you can switch between the versions whenever you like. Some files had to be renamed in order to accomplish this but this will not effect your save games. All of my mods can be installed/uninstalled or swapped out at any time without harming your save games. All files are ESL flagged .esp's (except Puddle Remover Plus), these files can edited and sorted by load order but do not use an ESP plugin slot. I am no longer creating ESP or Loose files versions of my mods because there is no performance or compatibility improvements to be gained by using them. FYI: Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition can have up to 253 ESP (Full) and 4096 ESL (Light) plugins installed at the same time.
If you want to say "Thanks" for this mod press the "Endorse" button at the top of the page, it's appreciated.
Hello and Welcome, If you need help, but your not a forum person (I understand that), you can send me a PM, I'll reply as soon as I can. If you treat me with respect, I will treat you with respect, and I'll try to help you. If you disrespect me or my work, I'll ban you. * Mod Authors: If you have mod related questions/issues to discuss, contact me by PM or on Discord.
Tips & Common Sense:
Before you install any mod or make any changes to your game, you should back up your save games and/or relevant files. I recommend zipping up your My Games\Fallout4 folder and labeling and dating that zip file as part of your backups. Then thoroughly test the mod / changes before you add any other mods or advance the game.C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 This creates a backup of your "Saves" folder, your Fallout4.ini, Fallout4Pref.ini and your Fallout4Custom.ini if you have one.
Use FO4Edit to easily view the changes made by a mods ESP/ESL/ESM, check for compatibility, resolve conflicts, est.
If this mod does not fit your play-style or if you simply don't like it, don't use it, no one is asking you to.
SBW v9 Options: SBW v9 contains 4 brighter nights and 4 darker nights options, each version increases or decreases the world light level (sunlight scale) by steps of 0.05 from the "Default" of 0.20. Brighter Nights 4 being the brightest nights and Darker Nights 4 being the darkest nights. Darker Nights 4 lowers the
world light level (sunlight scale) down to 0.0, making it the darkest possible nights without more complex edits.
The "Recommended" option of my Fog Remover - Performance Enhancer II v2.01 mod is included as an option. Fog Remover II improves the games appearance and performance by removing Interior Fog, Mist, Steam, Dust, Smoke and Airborne Debris.
The "Environmental Only" option of my Radiation Removers v5.0 mod is included as an option. This will remove the remaining environmental radiaiton from the game.

Thanks Teloria, I'm really glad to hear yall like v8, I'm especially glad to know yall are enjoying the night time and the new clouds. Of all the people who use SBW you and Storm have probably waited the longest for this version to come out. I thought about you and Storm's feedback over the years a lot while making this version. Thanks for posting the screenshots, it's been a long time since this page has had new user screenshots.
took me a minute to respond and I'm sorry...being a musician in these insane times and all that .. the final version of the SBW is everything we had hoped for when you started this trek to perfect weather.. I will ( well me and Teloria to be clear .. ) be adding some SS from various places in the next few days.. you are the master of clouds my friend.. we sat and just stared at the creations float past... very, very nice work indeed....hope life is good for you.... stay safe and again, thanks for all you've done for us schlubs over the years
Hey Storm, I'm honestly really glad to hear you and Teloria are happy with this version. I've learned new things about how the weather works with each version and a few months ago I got a new vid card and monitor and I was finally able to see the weather the way other people were seeing it. My old monitor was soo dark and the colors were so bland that what looked good to me obviously didn't look the same on a good monitor. Anyway I want to thank you and Teloria for sticking with me over the years, it took awhile but we finally got there.
Hey Wolf long time no chat, I was literally looking at your avatar in Discord tonight thinking I should drop you a line. :) Hit me up in Discord or I'll hit you up in a few minutes.
Still using stock weather, no ENB (they're not compatible with current nVidia GameForce Drivers), no floral, was just wondering if this weather changes the nuclear storms in such that the sky just doesn't all darken down as that looks odd, you run into a storm you can't see and then you run out of it again. If not, then any change to undo the water changes, want to keep the rads as they are.
Magnifique mod. Very good. Dite moi, pourquoi dans l'ancienne version better weather 2, il n'y a plus le ba2, seulement le esp ? Est-ce normal ? Doi-je me débarrasser de mon ancien ba2 et ne garder que le esp ?
Very late reply, but yes remove all previous versions before installing SBW v8. SBW v8 contains a modified cloud mesh. (Adds new clouds and new cloud patterns.)
Late reply but...I can almost promise you you will not find the lighting at night too dark, the sky is dark, but you can see quite well at night, the lighting was very important to me in this mod. I tried very hard to make it easy on your eyes when your spending long hours staring at the computer screen.
Hi there, I'm sorry for the late reply but I didn't get a the "new post" notification. Anyway I don't fully understand your question, which "Toning" are your referring to?
I used to add images in the installers but it makes the installers much larger and all those screenshots (which you'll only glance at once) are stored in your Mod Manager files. No a more visually appealing installer is not worth the trade-off. If my mod doesn't speak for itself a fancier installer isn't going to help anyway.
Hello squarezero, No this mod does not contain any files or make any edits that effect LOD. This mod does not share any files or edits with Fallout 4 Seasons Project, the mods are 100% compatible with each-other. (In fact I highly recommend Fallout 4 Seasons)
There are a few simple things you can try to solve your problem: * Allow a cell reset. If you haven't, try moving your character to an interior cell for a min, then return to the exterior and see if the problem is fixed. * Adjust your load order. Try moving Fallout 4 Seasons up and / or down in your load order to see if this resolves your issue. * Reinstall Fallout 4 Season Project. * Download and install the Fallout 4 Seasons patches for Summer. These patches are made to work with fog removers. * Use FO4Edit to search for and resolve conflicts. If none of the above has solved the issue there is a hard conflict happening, many conflicts can be resolved thru the esp., if not then you will need to look for a texture file conflict.
If you still have problems after trying the above send me a PM with a copy of your Load Order, I can't make promises but I'll try to help you figure this out.
Sorry if i ask but i dont understand how to update this Mod im still on V4 and if i Click on download Version plus the AOi i see i need 3 Mods to let work this one. From that mods i have only V4.So if i download this update i must overwrite that older Version or same as other mods older version uninstall new version install? And must i have real the other 2 Mods?
Gladius if you want to use and AIO version just pick one of the (Plus) versions, it comes with Radiation Removers and Fog Remover II built in. Then the only option you might want then would be the Useful Combinations mod.
Just ignore that pop up, it's there to remind people of the options.
If you need more help tell me what you are using now, what version and which options and I'll let help you.
Thanks for the answer i update the mod but i need always the original Fog remover as the Fog Remover that are build in the AOI don't work or don't have all the option same as the updated Stand alone Fog Remover.I take a look even on the main Page from Fog Remover II but there NM say me that the Mod is actually not available for some problems. So i download this version and now all works perfect with your MOd outside all is ok and with the Fog Remover all inside is perfect. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/275 Oh and thanks for this Great Mod i vote for you and endorse was always a problem for me as the Fallout 4 Weather was always to dark for me.
I'm glad to hear you got everything set up ok. Yes I am using the new Fog Remover - Performance Enhancer II inside the AIO's. It is a smaller and faster than the original Fog Remover, but it has not been published yet. Thank you for your endorsement and your vote. I'm giving you a Kudo's for doing that.
