Just for you to know that the mod is tagged as adult content, if it doesnt include nudes you should remove it because it wont be shown for anyone having the filter for adult content enabled.
Try my new config, it should be better if you want bro. Let me know if it's any good, yeah shadows aren't looking gorgeous but fps is as good as it can get.
hello men im actully having a hard time here the install is easy so what file should i use cuz theres alot of file well well its ok if i got scolded here im new in modding???edit; im using intel 5500 i3 5005 and 8gb
Cool, so what you do now is way easier & I included a way easier installation readme.
click format in Notepad and click Word Wrap 1) Copy fallout4prefs.ini to documents\my games\fallout4 2) Do not launch the game via the launcher, launch via the Fallout4.exe as to avoid having the launcher override the new config and cancel out the new config. 3) Launch enjoy Done Enjoy
Yeah I realized my Default.ini is the problem. Download the new mod & give it a go bud, without the default.ini mod, replace the modded default ini with the default ini backup I posted in the files section.
Hey I really like these configs, they've given me amazing FPS boosts, just wondering though which setting actually affects the missing meshes/textures fix. The version you released earlier this month worked perfectly but I had that issue, this newest version fixes that but I'm seeing some noticeable FPS drops. Just trying to do some experimentation
Sadly, I'm just getting about 5 fps improvement with the High Perfomance Pack in urban areas like Lexington, (i5 3570K @4.2Ghz, 8Gb RAM, R9 390 8Gb). Gonna try other things and test this again after.
Recently upgraded my Rig and Running into a weird issue..
I can't get GPU Usage above 50%, Memory usage above 3.5gb average (5.5 peak) and CPU usage above 9% peak, 5% average.. Suggestions welcome as I've tried your INI settings with no noticeable changes.
Tried SpecialK and ENB's (Either, or, Both) Average FPS is 40's, combat of high teens,
ASUS Z10PE-D8 WS (2) E5 v4 2690's (Engineering Samples) 32 GB RDIMM per CPU (2) GTX 980Ti - SLI (1) GTX 1050ti (Second and Third displays) SSD's...
Nice, 4k? Are you disappointed with the system? Kinda wish I would have said go Ryzen man. It's faster than my dual xeon's.
PCIe 3.0, 32GB DDR4-3200, 4Ghz 16 Thread AMD Chip with Infinity successor to HyperTransport. Nearly 1TB/s Across All L-Level caches even on the 4Ghz R7 1700. So yeah I'll be doing that and downsizing in a big way. Plus finally see my PCIe 3.0 GPU at it's full potential.
I'm trying the RX 480 8GB at the moment. It's awesome compared to 390x 8GB. So much less power and extremely powerful. Surpassed my 390x on Firestrike. Score 15,819 graphics points default 1080p.
Looked at the Ryzen and was reading the releases and comparisons, short of long is I got a good amount of the hardware through swaps and eBay so the pricing could not be beat.
Nice. I just built an AMD System, first one by choice in some time. AMD Opteron 1389 2.9Ghz Quad, M4A78LT-M board, 32GB DDR3-1600, 8GB AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB. Dude it runs better than my x5650x2 on 48GB ram. On v1.8.7 I'm getting 45fps at 5120x2880, upscaled 4096x2160 on my high performance config.
After a few tests, I've discovered that the microstutters (ever 1 second) are not caused by your new config files. Instead, Bethesda's 1.9.4 update caused it. Before that patch, 8gb of ram is enough, but after the patch, the game needs 13gb of ram to stay a stable framerate. To top it all out and make it even more of a failure, I'm not even using the official "HD" DLC!(which is completely crap btw)
All I can say is WTF, are people working at Bethesda complete idiots? Most computers do not have over 10gb of real ram, and Fallout 4 do not work with virtual memory without massive performance loss. That is absolutely ridiculous, fallout 4 doesn't look any better than a 5 yo game like just cause 2, and yet it requires top of the line hardware.
Also, I suspect that some of the distance settings in your config do not work properly. Objects were fading right before my eyes and yet the bars in the display tab are all maxed out. After dragging them back a bit and put them back up, they fade properly. This is also causing some objects to not appear at all despite having collisions with your early files.
That's all, thanks for your effort still. My game would not run at this smooth of a fps without it.
Hey Chris, your config is brilliant and magical. My game is running buttery smooth on 6 years old gaming laptop, which I never dreamed of before.
However, I seems to have a problem with missing texture. Some stuff like railings, toilet bowls, sinks are not loaded properly. I know the railing is there because it blocked my character movement, but it is invisible.
Is it because of I'm running version 1.9.4? Is 1.9.4 totally unrecommended? Anyway, thank you for all of this. Endorsed.
Cheers!
Thank you! & Your welcome.
That's great man! That's what I like to hear. About the missing textures/ railings. Well I find that my latest config has Fade Mesh Scalar Disabled or Enabled.
Take a look at the pictures. Fade Mesh LOD Scalar either gives more textures/ less fps or less textures (meshes) and more fps.
It's up to you, maybe LOD Fade Mesh Scalar works well. Since this new config is dialed in so well, it looks and runs great man.
As far as game version goes, v1.8.7 game directory size is 34GB/ v1.9.4 like 100GB... I find v1.8.7 strays near or below the 8GB threshold. On version 1.9.4, memory consumption gets sucked down 8GB at a time...
Basically I notice v1.8.7 sucking down about 250MB per cell transition. On v1.9.4, we could see as much as 2,000MB per cell transition. That's 8 times more memory consumption.
