To bad it uses my right movement key to change appearance, as I don't feel like downloading the GECK and setting it up right now. Definitely gonna give this a go later on.

      it's not broken.
why does everyone say that on so many mods that work?
use the vortex mod manager and make sure to enable it.
this mod is perfect because it lets looksmenu tattoos work on my companions which i did through a glitch one time but could'nt replicate it again.

Confirmed: it still works for NG. At least for me.

So how does this work? Does it simply push the companion in a Character Creation the PC uses at the start type of thing, and then anything you have available, for your character creation menu.... you have here?

So like, if I downloaded a tattoo pack, and that was something I could then add to my character in character creation, and I felt Cait, or as in your pic, Porter, were too badass NOT to have bad jail/clubhouse done ink, and wanted to give them it, I could use this, and apple the ink overlay I would otherwise only have access to for myself in Character creation?

And so would it be the same for all character creation features? If I thought curies needs to be a light strawberry blonde, with a coif with body, not the pixie cut thing, and I had KS Hairdos in my CC menu at start, including a bodacious bouffant. in a pale strawberry blonde, it would just be a matter of using this, voila, Curie's tassels are as cliched as Cait's tattoos?

Will this work on Custom AI followers without nuking their brains?

i use looksmenu and cbbe and have added tattoos to piper.
it opens up the character creation and it even lets you rotate like you do your own character.
i use that ks haridos also and have added one to piper.
the tattoos are in the overlay under body like regular looks menu.

I have met a strange problem: I started to edit Hancock`s appearance and:
    1. When he is ghoul - I can change his hair cut normally
    2. After I change his race on "human" - I can edit everything, but haircut. His hairs always stay kind of default.
    Could anyone help me?

I'm having an odd bug where whenever I exit and re-enter the game, Piper's face gets oddly...exaggerated? Very specifically I apply one of the presets I've made and when I reload the save (after closing down the game) her nose becomes huge, her jaw shrinks and her eyes shift around. I have a feeling may be trying to reapply her default face on load but doesn't quite get it right so it just messes up the preset I applied. Any help?

i only want to change the armor/clothing, maybe the hair too (that's very optional tho)
I'm not interested in changing the face or body.
Can i do that with this mod?

to change the clothing of your companions simply open the trade menu with said companion and hover over the armor/clothing you want them to wear in their inventory and press the T key.. that should do the trick.. also works with settlers!! go nuts!! but you dont need any mods to do this.. its simply built into the game

I referenced this mod in the comment section of this other mod: nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14748?tab=description
Called, "Construct a Custom Companion by Karel2015"

The mod mentioned above can apparently change the appearance of your regular companions too (I don't know how. I just read in the comments that it could.) I haven't tried it myself so it may or may not have the same problems as this mod, or they could be worse for all I know. However, I thought it only fair to reference the mod here because I referenced this mod on the other mod's page. Plus if this mod isn't working for you then maybe this other mod can accomplish what you're trying to achieve.
