The thing is, it may got even more versions like the Nukas which only existing in other fallout games, but this one here adding it to vendors. Means in my settlements bar I can just buy them, too.
Works great, even in a Collection I am using with over 400 other mods, this mod is simply and lore-friendly and honestly makes sense. Thanks for the mod!
Would love an option that doesn't cause the find rates of things like quantum to decrease by half. It's somewhat made up for by them being in vendor inventories occasionally, but I'd love to have all of them spawning in the commonwealth with the rates for the rarer ones to staying vanilla. Gotta keep my quantum Thirst Zapper well stocked!
I have my own version of this that I merged with several other mods, and figured it would probably be better, and safer, to do it via script injection. I looked into and quickly realized it's not something I'm capable of doing unless you can point me to a how-to on how to write the script.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a script included for that particular function. It seems to be geared toward people who want to add weapons or armor to the lists.
Partially correct. I'm a user of Wasteland Imports as well, which is a great mod, and it is true that there is some overlap with this mod, but I don't feel that these mods are duplicative. Here are the key differences:
- WI does NOT add all of the NW flavors to the dominate leveled list for Nuka-Cola, only the Grape and Orange flavors (consistent with Voyager23 finding an Orange in the prior post.) When I say "dominate" leveled list, I mean the one that's driving what spawns in the majority of the vending machines in the Commonwealth. It does add the other flavors to the vendor and random loot lists.
- WI doesn't just add stuff to the game, it changes a LOT of things that are already there, which includes the *effects* and recipes for the Nuka-Colas, vanilla chems, etc. Some people are not going to want all of those changes / extra things. This mod does one simple thing with no other side effects.
Both mods can be used in conjunction with one another, which is what I'm doing in my own game. If you load WI last then you will get some non-Bethesda things like Vim showing up in the Commonwealth (which may be desired) and you will also retain the benefit from this mod of seeing more NW flavors appearing in vending machines across the Commonwealth. If you load this mod last, then you will get the above benefits but will have a distribution approach more consistent with the way Bethesda designed it within Nuka-World (and no Vim.)
I can confirm that WI only adds some of the Nuka-Cola flavors to the Commonwealth, the ones that were supposed to be distributed to the East Coast (according to the lore of Nuka World). However, the other Nuka-Cola from the West Coast can rarely be found in the barthenders inventory. Same goes for Vim! and Sunset Sarsaparilla as they were technically distributed in the Commonwealth, but in a much smaller scale than the Nuka-Cola, you can sometime find some bottles in the barthenders inventory.
And yes, like scotty9090 said, WI also change a lot from the base game as it's also an "overhaul" now. We're trying to re-balance some parts of Fallout 4 and unify the three story DLC together (in term of item distribution for example). Some people we'll disagree with what we're doing of course, but hey, we can't please everybody.
Anyway, all this to say that WI and this mod have different approaches of the Nuka-Cola distribution. Just pick the one you like and have fun.
probably 1 1/2 year late, but I have made a very simple modification myself on Wasteland Imports mod to include what this mod does - all nuka-cola flavours, with the same chance for each nuka flavour as per this mod. if anybody wants it...below is the single esp file to replace the original MojaveImport.esp
I'm not 100% certain if it's this mod but since the time I installed it I noticed that Nuka-Cola, Nuka-Cola Cherry, and Nuka-Cola Quantum no longer have caffeine. Has that happened to anyone else?
I realize this is really old, but I figured I'd post just in case anyone else saw something like this. This mod only edits the leveled list for the drink, it doens't do anything to the drinks themselves. There's no way it could add or takeaway the effects of the drinks themselves.

Can we also get a version of this that adds the Nuka Dark Rum for giggles? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36779

EDIT: This is my 69th post!

Admittedly, scripts baffle me, so...
Curious if that's so!
