!! -INFO 1 !! The earrings are made for unchanged vanilla-ears!
If you change your character's ears in the race menu, the earrings will likely be clipping. If you already have changed the ears, you can change them back at Diamond city's plastic surgeon.
I need help, with the textures. Only emeralds and rubies are green and red respectively, but everything that is supposed to be silver, gold or rhodium is black 😔 I have: Such Fallout collection + few other mods, but mostly weapon mods (lever action shotgun, e.t.c.). I use Vortex I tried: 1) Reinstalling the latest AWKCR. 2) Downloading Earrings mod and copying the files into the folder manually (Vortex accepted them) 3) Turning off two lighting mods I have: Ultra Interior Lighting and Enhanced Lights and FX 4) Reinstalling Earrings following the instruction (put earrings into a container -> save -> delete mode -> save again -> reinstall mod) The mod works in general, but the earrings are black. It's not the end of the world, but I used the mod in the past and didn't have this problem. I can't seem to fix it this time. Please help 🙏
Definitly a conflict with another mod. Try change of load-order (this mod's esp last). Check your texture-folder-paths for unpacked effect-textures and cubemaps, which also usually cause the described issue.
Thank you for the reply! I did move it down the loadorder so it loads as late as possible (dead last on the list) but it's still black 😔 I also checked the path to the folder via Vortex ("Open in file manager") and the files inside are just the way they are in the archive if I download the mod manually; there are also no "fancy" characters in the path to the folder, only English letters. I'll try reinstalling with the full "dance" (put it in the container, save, delete, save again, reinstall) now as I moved it down the loadorder, but it's unlikely that it will help. I do understand that it's a conflict but I don't have it in me to turn off every mod one by one to find the culprit. I'll have to accept black earrings for this installation of mods / this playthrough and look into it in depth the next time I come back to Fallout 4. Regardless, thank you for the amazing mod! Has been my staple since my first attempts at modding the game.
To find the conflict you should just have to load ALL mods in FO4 Edit, right click on this mod's name on the list and choose 'Apply Filter for Conflicts' hopefully as long as the conflicting mod uses an ESM/ESP/ESL it should show you whatever is conflicting so you can choose what to delete/modify during your next playthrough.
(Edit: Scrolling down a bit in these comments it seems that Enhanced Blood Textures may be a culprit or having an older version of AWKCR)
Found what you were talking about in the blood mod description with the Dark Outdoor Cubemap problem, unfortunately, it didn't seem to fix it for me. Thanks for the reply either way though. Edit: Looks like I figured it out though, I had an outdated version of AWKCR which blacked out the colour on the earrings for some reason, weird.
I like these, a must have! Will you one day maybe add another set of "color" for the existing earrings that matches the vanilla silver and gold? I like to a touch of vanilla mixed with the finer fashions added by modder's like yourself.
Got a question. Maybe someone can help me on this. Do you know if these earrings take up slot 49? I would like to use the septum or nose rings from Femshepping's Ports - LeahLilith and Kalilies' Jewelry along with these awesome earrings but I am not sure if Femsheppings ports use the same slot. It doesnt say on the other page and comments are locked so I cant ask there. Thanks in advance

More to come. -They can be crafted on every ChemLab. -The used slot is 49.
Whatever, falls die bodyslots conflicten, müsstest Du einfach via CK den slot eines der mods ändern. Greetz Freddo
Ok, sorry for the confusion. She had to translate it for me. What I tried to explain was that I know the description for your mod says it uses slot 49, I am referring to Femshepping's Jewelry mod decscription page. That page doesn't say anywhere that the jewelry from that mod that it uses slot 49. I tried to explain that in my first post. Your description is clear. The other page is not. Thanks for helping me anyways.
fiskin1 I checked on the Femshepping's Jewelry esp and the only item that use the same slot (49, mouth) is the CollideLipRings (yeah I don't know why this mod uses the mouth slot for earrings but that's the author's choice ) . Other slots used by the femshepping's mod are 46(headband) , 50(neck) , 58(unnamed). If you want, you can open the Femshepping's mod in FO4Edit ( which is VERY easy to do ) , then armor addon -> AA_LeahLilithKalilies_CollideLipRings. There you will see on top (almost) 2 lines with " 49 - mouth", just change it to whatever you want ( see on other items and just copy pasta the slot they uses )
@krockette, FO4's limited amount of bodyslots forces to use "uncommon" slots sometimes. My EasyGirl outfit mod, for example, comes all in separate parts and uses almost every other bodyslot, so use of slot 49 for earrings was neccesary to avoid conflicts with my own mods (like also my Classical Plain Rings mod and Sirius Assault Armor mod). I have tried to keep it conform with Armorsmith' bodyslots as far as possible. If it however conflicts with Femshepping's port, so be it. Mine got released sooner anyway
THank you ~ i did not realized the face preset i used was using a modified ears...but then i went to the surgeon and changed the earlobes and other ear parts to average..but still clipping
