Hi! Is it okay if I upload this to Xbox, with the marine wetsuit material fix included? I know your more recent mods have the permissions defined, but Bethesda.net's newer guidelines require explicit, publicly-viewable permissions. I'd also like to include them in an upload of Enhanced Vanilla Armor and Clothing, if you don't mind. (Xbox is limited to 150 mods total, plugin or not, so every slot saved counts.)

no. Making it compatible is very easy and very boring!

      EDIT I'll stick a patch up here, you're welcome ^^ https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/62608?tab=files

Such a subtle change yet it makes a world of difference to me.
This armor no longer looks like its made out of plastic its now properly metallic without being too shiny at same time.

    Good job!

Would this mod conflict with the Marine Armor Boot Fix mod?

As long as the boot fix is loaded after the material fix, it should work properly.

Thanks for the fix. However, I just can't understand what Bethesda was thinking. It looks more like a toy, a G.I. Joe set to me, with the red, green, and yellow. No offense to you and your hard work. Cheers.

I like the work you put on the wet suit and the marine helmet visors... they looks less like some kind of "plastic", and more like actual glass. Even if it's more of a cosmetic detail, I'd be glad if you were able to share it on consoles too !

Now, I was thinking : is there any way to make it transparent, and at the same time, keeping the color of the visor ? I know the project was lauched for many other helmet and glasses, but I don't know if it was also done for the Far Harbor items...

To each their own, but i cannot understand why someone always asks for a transparent visor or goggles on unrelated mods. In my opinion it makes alot of helmets look derpy like all the flight helmets, in real life you dont see full face street bikes with double transparent visors or actual flight helmets for that matter i know it is for sun shading effects. Which would also make sense for a helmet designed for heavy combat so this is one visored helmet bethesda actually got right atleast in my eyes. Sorry for droning on and if i sounded hostile its not my intention at all, i am just curious why it seems any file that modifies a feature of an armor or helmet theres always requests for transparent visors? I get its popular with some but im sure there is mod that does exactly and only that and if your looking for a console version of this mod it would mean everyone on console would be stuck with the transparent visor effect which isnt what this mod set out to do in the first place. So for dpillari to cater to your wants would undermine the added effects of this mod for alot of people, thats really the point i am trying to make about your question. If you are asking for a console version of something dont also ask for a unrelated feature that would undermine the actual mod itself on console just my 2 cents. I do agree it is a wanted feature but let them be seperate unrelated mods.

Don't worry I didn't take it as an hostile answers, quite the opposite.

I would not be able to explain why I love the concept of transparent visors for helmets... but if I had to find an answer that would correctly fit my point of view, it's to keep some "personnality". It's really hard to explain, but to me, a full mask showing nothing of your face have something of... how to say : being a generic character ? I don't know, maybe because it show less of the emotions transcribed during dialogues... Or simply because I've put so many efforts into making my character that it's sad to keep your head gear all the time. 'D

That Being said, I asked the second question, more to know if such mod for the Far Harbor items existed already... and, if not, if he ( or hell, even someone else who would have read my comment ) would be interested to created this one. There's so many mods out there, and I have so little time to explore all of them... But regardless, I admit that my question was incorrectly posted. And to conclude... I recognise that I don't even know if it's pertinent to ask if there in any port of mods, for such or such content for consoles, since Nexus is for PC... but Bethesda.net being bugy as hell for me ( coincidence ? ), I'm looking here 98% of the time to see the new mods coming, and which are the most interresting... this one being part of them. So, when I think it deserve to be shared, or in truth, If I really want that mod, I ask... with little hope of answer.

I hope that I could answer your question, and If the subject was inapporpriate in the first place, I'm sorry.

The added reflection of the world really adds to making the Marine armour looking a lot better, I'm definitely enjoying it so far. But I have a request... could you make a version where the symbols glow for the Children of Atom version of the armour? Since when I install your mod it wants to replace the files for another mod which makes the symbols on the CoA version glow.

This is the mod I am talking about if you're curious: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13791/?

adds a proper environment mask to the armor. notice how the metal goes form a dark blue to a lighter one. thats the pbr in effect. its reflecting the environment. also notice how the visor goes from being a flat green, to a reflective green. like the visor should be.

It's not a pbr, like you said it's just envmap. FO4 don't have pbr.
