I did not know that this mod existed, it looks a bit outdated but I will try anyway.

So first thank you for this mod my friend. Not bad at all, being that you seem to be a new modder. That being the case, I figure it'll take quite some time before any updates occur. In the interval, please consider the following features if you plan on continuously improving:

Decomposition needs to have more stages and be more drawn out. In real life a corpse can be reduced to bones in about two weeks given that there are local carrion feeders. This necessity is mostly based on existing community comments.

Clothes tend to outlast flesh during decomposition, and it would match the existing wasteland skeletons. If you could find a way to at least preserve the armor on the model, it'd bring immersion up.

Skeletons need to retain their names, if they had any. I think a good compromise might be to have unnamed npcs just become generic skeletons, while named ones retain said names. That said, I truly have no clue if that's more practical from a coding perspective.

As another commenter pointed out, ghouls should perhaps be immune to this effect. Any ghoul playing dead gives itself away if they aren't decomposing. (more-so than usual)

Well that's my take anyway. Lofty goals, yes, but if fulfilled I think people will wonder why Fallout 5 didn't rip off this mod like they did with New Vegas's building mods. Good luck to you, happy learning, and thanks again for what is so far an awesome mod.

All this is what I do also want with this mod, its just alot of it requires knowledge about things which I dont have, I do plan on soon revisiting this
mod and attempting to improve it, and if I make any progress, re-uploading it with some other stuff ive been working on. Thanks for recommendations .( also Im always working on different ideas which Is why I havent messed with this mod in a while, I was burnt out on it)

Maybe you can create a few stages of skeletons that are able to wear items like a normal corpse. Simple enough. Applying a texture overlay to a body (like how some dirty blood mods) might be a good solution for some of the transition.

Anyway I see the mod has a few issues for people and don't know if its just them specific or the mod overall. It would be nice if this was picked up and expanded on to remove conflicts and bugs. Such a good idea really, with so many hungry THINGS in the wasteland, bare bodies are unlikely to last long.

PS. It would be cool if a option for limb detachment on bodies existed for the chance that something bites off a leg etc and moves it around.

Doesn't seem compatible with horizon. Sucks because this is such a great concept.
