    So I've installed this because he sounded really cool and original. I ran up on a new start to meet him to travel together but he wont leave the couch. It's also only given me two options only to speak with him. "No never mind" or "Lets go" and when I select the lets go he replies okay and then doesn't budge. When I use the bring character to me he says his line then turns around and starts walking away. I'm not sure if I have to be a specific level or something with factions or if he is not specifically meant for a first grab companion? Sorry if you've already explained this to someone else.

      @panpanii, I'm so sorry about that -- honestly I've stopped playing Fallout 4 and have stopped development of this mod long ago since I just don't have time to mod anymore. I wish I could help you further but I have no idea why that would happen as I made it to be a pickup and go companion. My apologies

      No worries at all, sorry for grabbing him so late. I'm a bit of a companion hoarder haha I like people being creative and making lore-friendly people. Thank you for even putting him out there, I'll leave him in Goodneighbor to give Hancock company thank you for reaching out to me anyway!

      Hey there, unfortunately it has been put on hold since I don't have as much time anymore since being a full time dad to a small child. I can't balance things optimally, and thus I have taken a step back from modding FO4 until this changes. No ETA.

    Oy Mate, this looks like a really awesome companion, but it would be perfect with voice.
    Please, give him a voice, since you already have the lore and everything set.

    Downloading today. Have been tracking it for a long time.

    Personally I'm a voice fan, though your on and off switch idea is great for people who like silence.

    For me, I enjoy seeing what they will say and a voice adds another dimension to the character. Since he was in the same vault, having your him mention a restaurant you both remember would be far more interesting than silence. FANV had a mod companion called Niner and the things he said definitely give him a deeper personality than just someone who fights along side of you.Dogmeat is the only companion I don't want talking to me.

      OMG how did I wait this long to reply???? Yes --- I LOVE that idea about having him mention or talk about Pre-War stuff / life. I'll be implementing some seriously DEEP conversing with him, at some point (Soon TM)

    Don't give this guy a voice. He is the silent badass in my game kind of like Darth Maul in Star Wars. Silent and deadly. Please keep him that way.

      I like the idea of having the option for select-able voice use (ON/OFF) or even multiple personalities (also switchable) on-the-fly. I'll keep your comment in mind

      For affinity/romance purposes, when that comes about, he will need voice.

    Is there any way base his healing ability on having stimpacks in his inventory? What about an ability to detect if the player is taking Rads or has been effected by rads and applies Rad-X or Rad Away appropriately? Maybe with some dialog like, "Hold still Sir!" or "There ya go Sir". It would be really cool if this could be done as needed (with the appropriate inventory) vs a 1 hour cool down. Perhaps he could do the same with similar lines for other NPC's such as Dogmeat, "Here ya go boy", or Preston "On your feat soldier...I hear there are settlements that still need your help!" Or "Your not allowed to die on me yet Paladin, your still carrying my stuff!" Or whatever, ya know?

    Secondly, would it be possible to add the doctor AI template to his character so he can heal you or cure rads by simply speaking to him and asking for it? Would definitely make him invaluable in survival mode!

    Isn't there a companion mod that gives a death alternative and has your companions heal you instead? Would go great with this!

    NOTE: I'm not a professional voice actor or anything, but I do have a high end logitec headset and a quiet room. Let me know if you want some sample voice files to monkey around with while you figure out what you want to do with his dialog.

      I haven't been active the last few weeks, sorry for the delay. These are all very good and strong ideas that I will definitely reference for the next update. Admittedly, I would love to be able to do all of this, but I am limited by scope of knowledge (for some functions) and available free time, at this time. I can't guarantee a date/time for the Voice update but I would love to hear your voice files - please send them to me at [email protected]

    Nice. Definitely recruitable now. Dismiss/rehire and enter/exit power armor works too. This is all as of v1.1.0.

    I did get his affinity perk as soon as I recruited him the first time though. That was a little odd, but nothing you can't fix in a future update. Thanks for getting him working!

    Edit: he also looks in my game same as he does in the screenshots. No weirdness there.

      (SIM-COM) That is intended, so he can provide you with medical care out in the field. For immersion purposes, I can disable the message from popping up in the next update. | Thanks for your feedback!!! :)

      Ah, ok. Then seems all is working as intended. Looking forward to future updates. So far he's working great. I gave him an upgraded AUG and buffed armour, so now he's more of a personal guard, too. GJ

    Bear with me on the constant updates - I'm making a lot of facial and appearance changes and some of them are not reflecting on the Creation kit as they are IN-GAME. 1.0.3 has his eyes way too close to his nose (again, I should have loaded the game rather than trust the CK render window.) I'll be fixing that right now, and working on Chris's appearance tonight. Sorry about any inconvenience - I promise I'm not trying to ruin him for you.
