I will no longer be working on (Or maintaining) any of my mods. That being said, they're all up for grabs if anyone else wishes to take over. Just let me know via direct message if you wish to do so. Thanks, and thank you all for your support on my projects.
Please be aware that although you can still download and use this mod, there are many bugs and no plan on fixing them now. If you run this you must do so with that in mind! See the bugs tab for more information.
If only the project had actually met its design goals/been finished. My original intent was to have scripted 'ghostly' floors at set intervals in the pit (Every so many vault kit parts high) that could be toggled on and off by the overseer's terminal to make it a breeze to build in 3D space. You could have even have built from the top down, had you wanted. But as they say, life happens. I don't play this anymore, but I still loosely follow the goings on in the modding community. So much more is known now about the issues and limitations of Bethesda's game engine(s) and modding as a whole for most of their newer games has adapted to cope with them. By modern modding standards, essentially the entire way this mod is made is very dated and is ripe for compatibility problems.
IF ANYONE IS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS MOD READ IMMEADIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For those of you that had a big problem with this Mos Vault wear and vault door say 111 the welcome home sign says 114 and the door not opening if any one else had this problem the same goes for vault 98 and the mods textures not working I have found an easy solution in the past year I tried everything and no change to the problem I recently installed the mod called GRIM The Curse after loading this mod and visiting said vaults 98 and 85 they then had the right textures and the vault doors worked without incident. I will say that GRIM The curse is a horror mod and will turn the general fallout game play into a horror experience but installing this mod with the 2 said vault mods is a definite fix I just wanted to throw the solution out there for those who are having the same problem I had. Here's a link to the mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46711
i cant send settlers to vault 85. the vault doesnt show up on the move list and if i spawn settlers into the vault i cant do anything with them and the settler count does not increase
Build too many buildings?Drag shadow? What should I do? It is a phenomenon that occurs after many buildings are built in a residential area Vertical sync has also been turned off, and special effects have also been adjusted It's no use getting too low
If y'all are using the 'More spawns' mod Especially the high version of that mod, don't I mean it DO NOT fast travel to the marker on first run.. Either that, or be well prepared. The area is Death-Claw territory after all.. You have been warned...
Recommend ya hike in from farther out on your first visit..
Awesome large Vault build area.. Build until your graphics card cries.. LOL
I have the more spawns mod on and I just travel from the east to Vault 85. Its mostly safe, just avoid the super mutant camp and the raiders sniffing around.
I can relate to the last sentence because I made a mega atrium (With the Settlement Objects Expansion pack and used all the light variants pf the Vault Modules. Eventually my computer crashed and had to get a new graphics card. Lol
LOVE this mod! Wish I found it sooner! Nearly died at the "mod related bug" XD. Personally I haven't encountered anything buggy at all. This ticks every box I had for vault living and building, just amazing. You even add in functional trash cans. I get you seem to have abandoned the mod but thanks a ton for making this!
I’ve just download and installed this mod, It seems to be working OK but I can’t activate the workbench because I have to kill nearby enemies. What enemies? I killed a bug, but I still can’t activate the workbench.
Also the key card for the terminal in the security office is missing.
Haven't experienced this bug myself but try pressing the workshop entry key and using the console command /workshop. Also can try selecting it with your mouse, then using the following commands on it: "setpv OwnedByPlayer True" "setpv VisitedByPlayer True". When a workshop won't let me fiddle with it and it's not giving me the un-allied error a combination of some of these usually fix it.
also the terminal isn't meant to be used it has no functionality
