I redid the whole mod, check the changelog for all changes. There is no need to update if you are already done with that part of Nuka World, but if you've never talked to Shank before, use the new version. I tried making an ESPFE of the file, but this resulted in audio skipping during dialogue, so it will stay an ESP.
Update 2.0.1: Small update with a fix for raider workshop items unlocking wether you've skipped the raiding or not. This works also on a running game, no matter what stage of Nuka World you are. You don't need to load an earlier save, just use the new file.
Update 2.0.2: Removed an unneccesary scene start from Shank's dialogue. It caused the dialogue to linger for a bit when skipping HSH, it now correctly closes the scene and Power Play starts. More of a cosmetic fix.
This mod saved me. I badly wanted to take over settlements but "home sweet home" was glitched out. Shank would check the settlement I told him, say it's good, and I'd never get the objective to go take it over. I saved right by him before talking to him at all and this worked fine. A possibly unintended side bonus is it also seems to make it so Heather Casdin won't leave you. I was able to take over Jamaica plain no problem so far. Thanks!
Power play starts right after and I haven't tested if I can set up settlements with the pack before doing power play. I will check and update this. They are the group that's mad at me.
I had a problem installing the mod. I'll explain what the matter is. When I click Mod manager download, after the vortex opens and the mod appears in the downloads, it simply doesn't load and says "waiting" and this is only with this mod. I also tried Manual download but there my nexusmods page is always loading.
The mod worked perfectly.ButI have a question:Why is it that after completing the "PowerPlay"quest, the RedRocket in the nuka world is not identified as my settlement?I can only give it to one of the gangs, and I can't send settlers into it.
1hr+ searching internet to find why this shank mf's quest didn't work as it should and here I am. Mod worked as intended...unlike the game it is made for <_<" Thank you.
Could this mod somehow have disabled the voice lines for the MC? Because as soon as I reached Nuka World, my MC went mute and nothing I've tried has been able to fix that.
Edit: Nevermind! It was a bug and after reloading three times, it just fixed itself. Sorry!
I tested this, skip the mission and jumped to power play. Then the marker says speak to Nisha (in English, not in the language I have the mae set up, but ok), but then, when I try to speak to her nothing happens and the marker remains on her all the time. I this supposued to be likes this?
you want to know what's funny, i have been trying to do the bad guy route and recently i got to shank and he talks to me, but he won't advance the raiding quest, and i'm not even using this mod lol, i want to be a bad guy but i can't get him to start the damn quest so somehow my game is glitched to the point where he won't for the life of me allow me to do any of the raid quest content and it was all done by a damn glitch and not using this mod lol, it actually made me rage quit last night because i would go to an earlier save to do things slightly diffrent and would always run into this nonsense.
Ive done 2 different playthoughs this year, but this quest is the reason the last one ended as I didnt know preston would ignore me and had no save i could revert to (survival, no backups) but im at this point again and it just.. isnt working for me? idk if im doing something stupidly wrong or something but the dialogue just continues as normal for me? to be honest this entire part of the dlc seems rather poorly thought out by the devs but what do i know. any ideas what i could be doing wrong? only other mod im using are high fps physics fix
I'm sorry you have problems, but I honestly cannot think of any reason why it does not work for you other than it is not properly activated. Do you use a mod manager? Have you double checked in the ingame mod menu that it is active?
Edit: Just to be sure: You chose the dialogue option that you don't want to hurt people, right?
Im using Vortex, and yes I chose the "dont want to hurt people" path. I know whatll happen if i continue it, so even if i cant figure it out ill just skip Power Play i guess. Through vortex, the mods i have installed are "Less Fh Ground fogs" "High FPS Physics fix" "F4SE" and this one, but it just isnt doing what it should, i dont think any of those should conflict right?
Ok but can you see the mod activated in your ingame mod manager? The one in the main menu. It is basically impossible for the mod to not work unless it is overwritten or not properly activated. This isn't a script, it is attached directly to the quest. I tried Vortex once and hated it, not sure if it is any better now.
Well, then you did not install it correctly. Just copy the file in Fallout 4/data and activate it in the load order manager in the ingame menu. And maybe switch to Mod Organizer 2. I'm still using NMM, but only because I'm too lazy to install everything new.

Let me know if you have any problems.

- Sry, but I have no idea what that means.
