Updated to replace the disabled models with the closest one that is working. Some sizes are slightly off, but shouldn't be too noticable.
Check the new images for examples.

Worked great for me, thanks. The previous comment isn't wrong, but if you use a mod like Scrap Everything (which by nature breaks precombines) this mod fixes the problem just fine.

2022 Edit: Screenshot two as shown in the mod here is what you see when precombines are broken in Cola Cars as soon as you load in. This is a known issue and probably an artifact of how previs is generated. On a typical vanilla install, you do not see that ever unless your copy of the game is from 2016 and on a patch level so old that it's laughable. I'd consider this mod obsolete unless you prefer the changes the mod makes to the statics in the world, but they also break precombines in the process.

If you do run into the display oddness, check your mod load order for stuff that breaks that cell or other cells in Nuka World, more than likely they have broken precombines as a result (FO4Edit shows a precombined record with [Placed Object] instead of Placed Object, and if you move or delete it, you've broken them for the cell block or interior. We have come a long way in understanding how that system works since this mod was created.

Also, UF4OP won't fix precombine issues. If they did, the mod archive size would be at least 5gb. Anyone who knows what mod I work on, knows exactly why.

In addition, I'm not faulting the mod author at all about this, from what I saw from looking into this mod originally, it was just a matter of timing that didn't go favorably for the MA. Blame Bethseda and their optimization system.

2022-12 Edit: The root of the problem's been fixed by Glitchfinder. Look here instead.

I appreciate that explanation, and may be the reason why I have so many issues at Nuka-World. I've been using this mod for ages to fix the really, really old problem caused by the game in that area (as in 2016 right after the DLC was released). So out it goes!

@KawaiiDestro You probably have a mod or something that breaks the previsibines in the cell.

This bottle glitch is still happening in December 2020. Thankfully this mod fixes the problem (even mid playthrough) and is definitely still needed. Thank you Eldocar for creating a mod that fixes a problem Bethesda should have fixed years ago.  Highly endorsed.

Not sure why but this isn't working for me at this time. Can't see the boss to shoot him with the water gun. Very frustrating.  Finally decided to do nuka world and it's unplayable.

I know it's a year later after your comment, but this might help other folks too. If you use the mod Scrap Everything or another mod that  breaks pre-vis/pre-combines, that might be your culprit if you have something that expands scrapping. One person said they fixed it by disabling Scrap Everything until they got through the part where you meet Gage face-to-face, then reactivated it. YMMV.

Also, check your fallout4.ini file. If you have bUseCombinedObjects = 0 in there, that's really bad. Means your hardware is working overtime for reasons it doesn't need to be as it's rendering each object individually. Take that line out or set it back to 1 and you should see a noticeable difference in performance throughout the whole game.

I see that many People here in the comments do not understand why this problem occurs in the first place. Here's a little explanation and a simple trick on how to avoid bugs like this and many more. Some mods require you to change bUseCombinedObjects to 0 which disable the precombined meshes system, usually this are mods like Commonwealth Conifers Redux, which change the complete environment (replace and add more trees and/or vegetation to the game). This mods might look spectacular but should not be used for a serious playthrough as disabling the precombined meshes leads to severe bugs (some of them are even gamebreaking) like this little fella here. Beside that it will reduce your performance severely. I have a very beefy Computer with a 2080ti and the newest i9-9900k and even I Can't get the game to run stable on 60 frames with disabled precombines, not even with perfect configuration. Lower end rigs will have even worse performance. How can you avoid this? You should not use mods that require disabling the precombined meshes for other then screenshot purpose.

I have never run a mod that disables precombined meshes. There have been one or two that broke a few (which I have subsequently dropped), but none that disable them outright. I still experienced this bug. I affects some games and not others. Some have reported no problems on one playthrough and seen it occur on a subsequent game with the same assortment of mods.

I have quite a few mods that disable the precombined meshes, and i never have an issue with dropping below at least 56 or 57 fps. I had this bottle issue BEFORE i even made significant changes to the game and had to manually disable them before i even started modding. So i can say editing your ini in any way isn't the exclusive reason this bug happens.

I thought that as well but if you google around there are plenty of people that don't even use mods at all that are looking for solutions to this issue on forums etc. so it seems it's not just that.

I have no issues with disabling precombines, I've been running games with Scrap Everything since it came out. But I made some pretty sick performance adjustments like FAR area reform, ENBoost, texture opt., etc. back when I had a GTX 970, carried them through to after I bought a 1080Ti when I could finally afford one. I think precombines was a half-measure to try to compensate for Bethesda's absolutely abysmal texture optimization. Some of their textures are straight broken. Somehow those clowns can release HD textures that are dozens of gigs and not even noticeably change anything lmao. It's almost like they're dumb enough to think that enlarging a photo is the same as improving its resolution...actually I think that's exactly what it is, which is why some textures bloat beyond their meshes with precombines off, like in quarry sites. As soon as you fix the textures the issue goes away

I totally agree with you. I was wondering what the hell was going on in the first place. It's been what, 4 years? and Todd Retard haven't even patched this shit.

Just started Nuka World, seems the bug is still active, hopefully this fixes it... Unofficial Patch definitely didn't.

I never saw this when playing on the xbox, but I only did half the dlc once. But with how many bugs I've encountered since Daggerfall - I'm just downloading this now, and not taking the chance that this doesnt work for me mid-game.

Just a heads up folks, I checked in FO4Edit and this mod breaks precombines. This is not a comment about the quality of the mod, just an FYI.
