Update - I am no longer modding Fallout 4. Consider this a modder's resource. Feel free to make edits and upload if you have linked to this mod AND my profile. Thanks!
Just my usual ideas to beautify the place even more. I was thinking of a smallish dock or jetty somewhere out on the beach with a sailboat in it, mebbe a spot for a fire/ clambake pit out there too.
Benmc20: The generator is behind one of the pillars as you walk up the stairs to the house. If you are standing at the base of the stairs facing the house, it is behind the right pillar.
Just downloaded it tonight and really love the house. So glad (I said it in a prior comment) that it is empty. Can't wait to decorate. Just a small request though. . .? I can't live with the foggy interior. Makes lighting look weird. Can you remove the fog? I was kind of laughing while reading the comments. In one response, you said that you had put in venting because you liked to think that the air filters were making it smell fresh. I guess they aren't working because they are not sucking out the fog! LOL The exterior looks beautiful! Endorsed!
I'm afraid so. . .pretty thick fog. I only have 5 mods installed and they are all decorating mods (curtains, rugs, etc.) so I know it is not my mod list doing this. I've just started a new game. Yours is my 6th mod.
I only have one question which wasn't covered in the description: is it possible to set up supply lines to the exterior AND interior areas, just the exterior, or none of the above? Just wondering how tough it's going to be for me to start building my dream home away from Marcy Long and the infernal sewing machine noise she won't stop making.
Doesn't look like I can set up supply lines at all. I'll need to ponder this over the weekend. Would you be okay with me creating a patch to establish supply lines if I can figure it out?
You know your architectural history! Mid-Century modern stuff goes so great in this game. This makes me want to model some Breuer , Eames, Le Corbusier pieces.
Like others said, it's nice to have a blank canvas to work with instead of having to deal with someone else's taste in decorations. It's the reason why I don't grab other mods similar to this one (be it player home or settlements); too many decorations (that more often than not I don't like) and it's enough having to deal with Bugthesda "decorations".
Here's a kudos since I'm not downloading it, but I'm sure plenty of endorsements are on the way.
Absolutely gorgeous mod, endorsed in spite of the tiny little bug I found. I've actually been looking for a place to set up a home instead of a settlement so I'm not constantly harassed by settlers/vault dwellers and this is perfect.
Very nicely done! This looks great, and it's nice and roomy without being too big for a player home. For what it's worth, I really don't think this is lore breaking at all. Surely there were plenty of wealthy people in the Boston area who would have built some extravagant and unusual houses. For that matter, the bulk of the Frank Lloyd Wright homes, which you mentioned as inspiration for this mod, were built in the 30s and 40s. As far as the time period is concerned, they're very appropriate.
You also mentioned that the workshop couldn't be activated manually, and only by the hotkey. It worked fine for me. I'm wondering if it's because of my settlement budget mod. I'm using DDProductions83's Increased Build Limit Enhanced 4k, which involves a second workshop activation step. When you activate it the first time, it brings up a menu to change the settlement budget, and after that the workshop has the normal activations. It worked as usual for me.
Hey there, I'm using the Increased Build Limit Enhanced mod too, and I just ran into a teeny tiny problem where the workshop in Sanctuary has been renamed to "Cliffside Home Workshop", so I submitted a bug report after doing some more investigating. Anything like that happen in your game?

Actually the most beautiful building in the entire commonwealth.
Thank you so very much
One suggestion though : can you add one "generator" plug in each "main piece" inside ? So I don't have tu run cables through doorways.
